This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. For those that maybe cannot get to the track or find it too costly, then a stream at the same price is crazy! Clubs see the stream as extra revenue from those opposition fans and others unable or unwilling to travel. Premiership clubs have the 'benefit' of TNT Sports coverage but still most of them offer their own stream when not on TNT! I think I'm right in saying that Glasgow are the only Championship club that do not offer a streaming service. Ok thats their perogative and maybe they don't need any extra income from opposition fans unable to visit, especially if they benefit from all stadium income. Shame really.......that is all.
  3. Just ignore him because an Ipswich rider got injured at Sheffield it has to be the most dangerous track in the league
  4. We are definitely weaker in heat 13 at the moment, pressure seems to be all on Richard to win that race, perhaps Zach could move to 5, only problem is if 3 and 4 are struggling, we've got problems
  5. Might be worth putting Zach back at 5 for a week or so as be stronger in H13 then.
  6. In the post-meeting interviews Lewis firstly had an electrical fault and then a puncture!! Anders - after a hellish week with vans breaking down and late track arrivals - said he has 'lost his gating gloves' and was hoping for some more track time at Sheffield (Oops!) and in Poland at the weekend. Everything fixable and both will be fine imo.
  7. You are missing the point Ipswich , Leicester, Birmingham and Oxford hardly produce fast speedway Lynn to a lesser extent is fast but Belle Vue and Sheffield are the fastest Sheffield is narrower and according to your own riders has one line close to the fence Its irrelevant about career ending crashes they can happen anywhere My point is that as a rider would you rather race in tricky conditions at Sheffield or say Ipswich …… Sheffield would be much riskier in adverse conditions
  8. Yeah I would have thought the stream would be the same as the admittance fee at the stadium.
  9. As did your number 1 and number 5…. Aussies do stuck together
  10. Well to get back to Poole 2025, I'm feeling more up beat about Poole's current form after seeing the last two meetings. Good to see Zac, Tobias, Cairns & Starke, all coming on strong at this crucial time. We are blessed with Mr Reliable Lawson, who continues to do the business. My only concerns are: Kerr's bike preparation presumably down to his spanner man or lack of funds? but totally fixable. My other concern is Anders form, he seems to be putting the effort in but isn't getting the results. Not sure what I would suggest. Pity the fixtures are getting spread out, making it harder to build up momentum.
  11. The turnstiles were opened at 6pm. The downpour started after 6:20pm. Your not going to then close the gates and leave people standing out in that rainstorm. Imagine the chaos if the meeting was to go ahead at 8:30. How would you get these supporters through the turnstiles in time
  12. I was there and that is exactly the impression he gave in heat 13 and 15. Compared to his earlier rides when he steamed up the inside of Lawson. Unless Bewley had knackered his bike when he borrowed it...
  13. Today
  14. Kids will always want to be at the stadium rather than watch it at home and most clubs have kids going in for free for at least the summer hols. If so many clubs still do a stream can't really affect attendances, or if it does the away/neutral fans watching it makes up for it.
  15. The original post said around 6. 6.30 isnt around 6 but fine, the turnstiles have never been open that early when I've been to Owlerton but the regulars will know more As Iain says some kind of official policy on this can only assist. I walked through the turnstiles at Belle Vue just as they announced the meeting was off.
  16. I'd suggest that there should be some kind of official policy as to what to do in such events that happen quite regularly.
  17. I’m not too bothered either way,one thing like I said on previous Post is I don’t understand why they make it cheaper than Admission Price for Stream ,that might have an adverse effect on Attendees who will find it cheaper too watch at home.(especially families)
  18. I believe the rain started some time between 6 and 6.30, so the turnstiles were already open. Are you suggesting that once it started to rain heavily they should have close the gates and leave people standing in the rain ? Everyone will have a readmission ticket which can either be used for the rearranged fixture or refunded so it's not as if the club have gained by opening the turnstiles. The only winners last night are the stadium owners who would have gained rental income and sold food and drinks to the punters.
  19. Yes true not every club do it, quite a few premiership clubs dont either. Bit of a shame but as you say that is their prerogative.
  20. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/other-sport/aces-on-offer-983611?int_source=amp_continue_reading&int_medium=amp&int_campaign=continue_reading_button#amp-readmore-target https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/other-sport/prices-cut-as-aces-thank-loyal-1002582.amp We still do things of a similar vein but just to be clear we didn’t stop doing the specifics mentioned in the links due to them being so successful. We can all get a handle on where speedway sits in the public consciousness. I’ve asked this twice but I think fans lethargy dwarfs that of any promoter. Invite 20 people you know to attend a meeting with you and let us know their reaction whether they attend or not. These are “hot” invites as they know and like you so it’s infinitely easier than a “cold call” invite. Having your 20 responses will give you a sense of what speedway in the UK is up against. Just to add, you don’t need to do this. You can all do nothing or even better just keep telling other folk where they are going wrong.
  21. Like I said if the promotion are happy why should they.Streams are OK if Clubs want to do it,their prerogative.
  22. Challenge final in Morizes Saturday 6th September line-up- start time 8pm UK time. 1 Kruse 2 Meijerink 3 Cooper 4 Tresarrieu 5 Stichauer 6 Ahlbom 7 F Wachs 8 Bouin 9 Ritchings 10 Aarnio 11 Niedermeier 12 Moi 13 Hummel 14 Meijer 15 Bukhave 16 Macek 17 Walker 18 T Wachs 19 Appleton 20 Dubernaud 21 RES Chauffou 22 RES Valladon
  23. Once again this myth rears its ugly head. What evidence do you have to make such an outrageous statement? As I've written before, you have to go back eleven years to find an incident in which a rider suffered career-changing injuries at Owlerton. How many other PL or CL tracks can make such a claim?
