  2. For me the top 4 will finish as the following; (1) Ipswich (2) Leicester (3) Sheffield (4) Belle Vue As far as I understand it teams don't pick their opponents. Its 1st v4th and 2nd v 3rd. If this is the case then I believe the following happens. Ipswich will beat Belle Vue Leicester will beat Sheffield. A final of Ipswich v Leicester could go either way, I am sitting on the fence for that one.
  3. My prediction is that the league winner will pick Dackarna. Indianerna or Rospiggarna isn't a that big difference IMO.
  4. that second half looks more appealing those lads and lasses on the 250s are fantastic to watch
  5. Any streaming service on the horizon at the Glasgow Globetrotters?

  7. He can’t ride for the Witches until the 28 Days of Edwards’ injury replacement expires.
  8. Spot on and as good an argument for one lap dashes being adopted by UK speedway as I’ve ever seen.
  9. Would agree seems a strange rule that can be manipulated.
  10. It's getting to that point in the season when we supporters start to weigh up our chances in the playoffs. My money is on the following: Finishing positions: 1) Ippo 2) Tigers 3) Leicester 4) Aces This probably means that my Sheffield team will draw the Lions in the semis; they've been our bogey team all season and will probably give us a thrashing. Ipswich will make mincemeat of the Aces in the other semi, meaning it's an Ipswich v Leicester final. My money is on Leicester becoming playoff champs, and I reluctantly have to concede they thoroughly deserve it. Any contrary views?
  11. Anybody who thinks Etheridge and Hagon are good guests for Gusts and Knudsen should apply for the position as Peter Shroeck's assistant.
  12. That’s mad, a rider who signed for you officially at the start of the season, mapped his whole season for you and sorted travelling out and equipment plus mechanics etc isn’t allowed to come back when fit, there should be a break clause in the deal allowing him to return when required in my opinion.
  13. What happened to all the rakers who used to pull the dirt back after every heat. Most were volunteers who did it for the free admission and a sense of being involved,so it can't have been a cost cutting measure.
  14. Can anyone please identify the riders shown and the occasion? TIA
  15. 011.2.1 Rising Stars The criteria for Premiership Rising Stars is as follows: - • The age limit for Rising Stars is 23 years of age on the 1st of January of that year • The Rider must have a Premiership League average of 4.00 or below Age limit still applies
  16. Or Klindt! Seems like they've given Becker an ultimatum like they did with Kurtz last season... what's with all the fluff around the statement though beats me 🤷‍♂️
  17. They are not allowed to go back on it he must get the full 28 days
  18. Would agree seems a strange rule that can be manipulated.
  19. This was exactly what I was thinking and why I asked the question. And I was also not suggesting that Kyle has done this in any way.
  20. So should a rider be ill in future then they should cite a (much easier to fabricate) ‘family emergency’ - not suggesting for a minute this is what KH has done btw. This rule needs looked at.
  21. 7 day ban as he missed the Oxford meeting at Kings Lynn last week due to illness.
  22. TBF they weren’t entirely sure when Jenkins was going to return and they gave Edwards a 28 day deal. They’re not the sort to go back on that so Edwards (rightly IMO) will get the full 28 days.
