He took some stick at the 4's at Redcar, amongst other meetings, but I didn't watch him consistently enough to understand. Was it simply underperforming? His home form in season he was dropped was abysmal after the track alterations. Up to then he'd done a decent job

He was possibly getting stick off the Redcar fans at the 4's after a meeting between Redcar and Newcastle (Richie riding for the Diamonds at the time) a year or two before(?). Possibly both. But this was definitely Tigers fans venting frustration at their rider.

Seem to remember saying when signed for Edinburgh just didn't like that track changes. He was brought in as 3rd heat leader so wasn't so much expectations than when was riding at 5 possibly

And in our quest for play offs why give up a guaranteed 3 points and risk the Glasgow weather into autumn? We've had one dry day in about last 10 up here, it's no surprise given rained all day do far as well meetings off Glasgow are in a league of their own currently. But bar away at Leicester us Brummies haven’t been too bad on our travels. I was looking forward to the stream whatever the outcome.

Think he was being given a chance to regain his confidence at reserve but its made no difference . If anything he's gotten worse not helped by losing his place at Sheffield. We may be better to field a young overseas rider with a view to next year if available on 5 points.
Midget 162 Posted August 15, 2021 Craig cook isn't doing his job either this season, if you build your team round a big hitter then he has to deliver

Lasse Fredriksen look decent prospect in the GP qualifier.

In 2019 Rasmus Jensen stepped up on the occasions Cook did'nt which were mainly on the road. The rationale of building a team with strength from 1-7 was sound however Sedgmen and Wells havent fulfilled what were perceived to be bargain averages. Connor Bailey not showing at the start didnt help and now he appears back at square one, and with no NDL team isnt riding enough to improve. All these issues were present before Oystercard was injured, its just now they are magnified as it was Ulle's scoring that was keeping us afloat. We might also be wary of making a change even though its glaring we need one. In 2019 we moved Sarjeant on and brought in MBA which backfired. He was somehow worse than Sarjeant.
