So in the instance of a late call off with teams at the track, who covers the riders expenses of both teams?

Tbf the forecast was dodgy last week and they managed to get it in. Maybe they thought they would be just as lucky again.

Each team covers their own expenses which always hits away team harder.

Oxford will bank all online ticket sales and most will use for rearranged.

Plymouth will have to pay for tonight travel and rearrange match out of their own accounts.

More than twice as much rain was forecast this week - and we got it with quite a bit to spare.

Pretty sure that if it's a late call off the home team has to cover all expenses.

Weather the home team covers the cost of all riders !! Who covers the cost of the away support.. fans out of pocket again & we wonder why our beloved sport is on the downward spiral in the UK .. but thats the great British weather tho

What's interesting about a heat 15 coming together in Poland on Saturday

Coming together with what? He didn’t even hit the tapes, never mind the floor or another rider. He was excluded for jumping the start for the second time in the meeting, must of been sore on the ankle.

We.ve all been there I'm sure...travelling to a track only to find that the meeting has been cancellled. I've lost count the number of times I've made a journey in the past and have the meeting postponed at the last minute. However we didn't have the luxury of mobile phones etc in those days to keep us informed whilst making the journey. Speedway fans have always been subjected to poor customer relations and I always recall the "six heat" clause whereby if a meeting ran to that length and was then postponed you didn't get your money back...I'm convinced that it could have been challenged?
