Agreed, really enjoyed that. Belle Vue really up for it and lots of good close racing.

Great race between Brady and Emil and also enjoyed watching Keynan Rew. Like his style of riding and defo one to watch for the future.

Belle Vue's strength in depth was inevitably the difference between the teams although Rew and Barker deserved more than the points they scored. Emil was simply sensational and a joy to watch.

The track staff deserve great credit for the track surface which must have been a difficult job with the very hot and windy weather.

Aces took the points but speedway was the winner tonight.

Yep I do think he needed a couple more years in championship uk before top league, especially at 4,and Ipswich track not doing him favours ,he’ll come good just might take a few seasons  ,if he was going to go good ,would on aces turf, need more time on uk mx tracks

Ipswich have had Emil & Doyle all season & are only 3pts clear of King's Lynn who have been proper s#!t

Hawkins managed to hide king away from responsibility last year when we only had Doyle by putting a 5pt man Batch at 5 nearly all year. This year we get Emil great back up for Doyley so pressure is off and he’s still not helping the team. Rew young lad can’t expect much first year round the UK tracks. Changes need to happen otherwise we have 2 of the best 4/5 riders in the league and won’t even make playoffs. Thompson done his job tonight and looked a little better Thursday night. Hume is idioted from riding 7 rides every meeting. Riss even when he comes back he’ll need meetings to get back race sharp. Something needs to change before another year of disappointment

TBH Witches were dreadfully poor Sayfutdinov aside.  But a marvellous night's racing.

Other than Brennan missing out in heat 1 and Mulford being bettered by Thompson more times than Mulford bettered Thompson don't think anyone can ask for more from the Aces.

Bewley beat Doyle & Sayfutdinov by a country mile in his first two outings then had the good graces to miss the start in his final two.  He picked his way to the front magnificently in his third, then gave Kurtz the chance to get away from Witches top two by making a nuisance of himself on the exit of turn two, later picking off Doyle .

Blodorn rarely hits the front from the gate but always finds a way through traffic.

Rew was the only Witch other than Thompson & Sayfutdinov that can be vaguely satisfied with their performances.  Rew was always on the pace & in the mix, had his nose chopped off harshly by Wright in heat 14.

Kurtz made one mistake all night when he drifted just too wide exiting turn 2, heat 4 and Sayfutdinov pounced.

I've always liked King but he was awful tonight TBH.  Didn't make a decent start once.

Absolutely no surprise at King’s score, it’s happened for the last three meetings now and he’s fell in to one of the ruts that he finds difficult to get himself out of once he’s in it. He’s struggled for Redcar in his last couple as well so it’s a concern as he’s pivotal.

To be fair this isn’t the team originally put together and Louis has had to put a couple of sticking plasters on to stem a couple of gaping wounds but it obviously can’t carry on as this current side won’t make the play offs. Defeat on Thursday and then lose for a third time at home on Monday against a strong Sheffield and it could be all over. Very rare to make play offs with 3 or more home defeats. Getting to the point where it could be gamble time and make a few changes.

Ipswich have been unlucky though, Lynn haven’t. When building teams with top end power and weak bottom ends you suffer badly when running rider replacement for a second string when that bottom end then has to take 10 rides between them. Losing a rider to injury isn’t unexpected in this sport, but losing one to illness is terribly unlucky whichever way you slice it. Barker is now a better alternative to R/R but he’s a 4 and half pointer replacing a 6 pointer so isn’t the long term answer either. Jack Thomas at rising star looks an even bigger miss the longer the season goes on!

I would suggest that Kings Lynn losing Josh Pickering about a day after averages changed meaning he went to reserve, due to injury whilst riding for Edinburgh, is pretty unlucky and unfortunate!

I did say injuries are not unexpected in this sport, any team can lose a rider to injury at any point we all know that. Losing a rider like Ipswich have to illness is as unlucky as it gets.

Doyle scored 13 early last season, but then failed to score double figures on both occasions after that so doesn’t seem to be his best track. Don’t think he failed to hit double figures anywhere else last year, could be wrong though.

A not unexpected scoreline - its clear that if Riss is not able to return then something does need to be changed in the line up! Genuinely pleased to see some points for Thompson. I actually felt he was fairly on the pace at Foxhall last week - he certainly wasn't miles behind - He needs the boost of some points (and money) and less pressure on him. 3+3 probably his best score.

Would have expected a bit more from Doyle - but he can't score 15 every week, King is a worry his gating was bad at Foxhall last week and sounds like its bad last night also. its it a mental thing or bikes?

When does Sayfutdinov's average sky rocket from the assessed 8.00.  Making any changes after that will be more difficult.

Wouldn't Craig Cook be better option than Barker, surely he'd fit?
