Looks reasonably solid to me depending on what Magic might produce. I'd say its a Wolves type team, contends for the play offs but won't win them

Not that far apart IMO. We’ll see about that lol

TTT 1,229 Posted November 30, 2023 Oxford's proposed 1-7 is very underrated imo. Out and out No.1 who only missed out on the GP's due to wokeness about getting different nationalities involved rather than picking the best riders. 2-5 who are all No.3's essentially who can win races regularly at this level. A high scoring reserve who's got bags of experience on all types of tracks. The only negative is that two members may take a month to settle in after coming back from big injuries (Wright and Klindt)
hyabb17 1,077 Posted November 30, 2023 Oxford have tweeted about their signings not being over this week, assume this will be their Premiership team announced in the morning.

'Silver Machine' was top 3 hit for Hawkwind back in 1972, but i'm not aware of any link to that...

'Silver Machine' was top 3 hit for Hawkwind back in 1972, but i'm not aware of any link to that... It was all to do with the Wagstaff/Brian Griffin idea that they hatched at Lynn in 2000, when as well as the matching Wolfsport two piece race suits all the bikes had matching silver covers. Griffin then disappeared during the 2001 season from memory and Waggy struggled on to the end of 2002 before moving the whole operation to Cowley, mainly to do with the corporate hospitality opportunities at a greyhound stadium IIRC. The silver machine nickname and bike covers went with him, was obviously an image he liked.
