The problem of course with that is that there is a significant lag of the tapes in front of riders in gates 2 and 3 vs the magnets themselves. So doing this would essentially guarantee they’re at a disadvantage. There’s no easy solution to this unfortunately, since not excluding the tapes offender, as has been suggested, would result in more gambling (or going deliberately when they see any movement). Personally I think keeping the starting rules simple (exclusions for tape touching, anything else is allowed) is the way to go. -
Maybe they hadn't thought of who would automatically get the second leg, so played rock paper scissors lizard spok

Hurry and Scott are good friends,, so I'm not sure any replacing will be done. As long as they keep winning at home, I'm guessing that may be job done for this season. Who knows though, it may turn out that the new owners are ruthless.

So witches go unbeaten in the cup group stages but have to concede the second leg of the cup final to being held at Leicester on the Thursday night and we must ride on the Monday night before. How does that one work out, once again speedway shows its complete inability to give the higher performing team any priority. Our nights are Thursdays and we won every match but we can’t even celebrate IF we did win the title at Foxhall.

I’m sure Glasgow will make changes. They’ve had a couple 5 point riders turn into 8/9 point riders the past few years. The way they’ve built their team they’re stuck with their reserves so it’s only Hausl and Pedersen who can make way
