Not sure that is totally true, yes Lawson has done that in the past but he has had a poor season by his standards. -
More likely a rain off looking at the forecast.

It goes back to "Hobbyists" v "Professionals".. Some clubs organically sit in certain leagues, however, there are not enough (currently), "professionals", hence some clubs will sit in a tier above their level to ensure enough clubs to run two leagues.. "Make do and mend Speedway" has been allowed to become the default method, (given it is a lot cheaper).. Hopefully with "new blood" in the sport, a defined growth path, with clear, incremental steps of improvement, will see the two leagues become seperated with the top tier being an aspirational level, which makes money...

The side this season on paper looked decent , I hear what your saying about the club but Buster is getting on and has previously said he won't risk his retirement monies equally given the silence from the club it doesn't seem there's a que of people knocking on the door to take over from him either. Lynn are probably the Scunthorpe of the top league team built to a budget but given nobody seems to want to take the team on its probably either accept that or the team closes down.
