Whilst it makes perfect sense that the lowest two averaged riders fill the reserve positions at 6 & 7 I have never been a fan of the highest averaged rider being forced to race at number 1. I understand they are the teams top rider but sometimes riders don't like to take the first race or they prefer to race with one rider over another. Sometimes a team may benefit from having their best rider at 3 missing Ht1 & Ht13. it should be the clubs choice to race their team in the order they prefer as long as the bottom two are reserves.

What, in detail, does your deep dive show? Firsts, seconds, thirds, last and against what level of opposition? Any big scalps? Many losses to riders that he should be beating? Was it all u-24 league or were some meetings against higher grade riders?

I wish Tom all the best and even though it won't be at Ipswich, I still hope to see him get back to his best. Been a rollercoaster journey at Ipswich for Tom, The highest of high's and the lowest of low's but the good times will always be the ones that are remembered.   Think that pretty much confirms the Dan Bewley deal as well tbh. Something had to come from the Wroclaw Agreement when Richard Coleman was hinting at dual contracts in the Press release.

Fair play to Richard Coleman. Best thing to happen to Ipswich Speedway for an awful long time you have to admire what he’s doing there. The first few meetings at Ipswich will be very interesting next year. Hope it all goes well for them and they get the right results they’re looking for.

Why would Bowes do a video if he isn't coming back. Hope he is not in the line up as I see that as a backward step, being a rider with in my opinion no upward scope based on his several years in Poland going backwards in his scoring and performances. Appreciate injuries didn't help last season but having done a deep dive on his performances in POL over several years his belated arrival in UK is more a case of last chance saloon in my opinion.
