I had a big crash there in 1996 riding for long Eaton clipping James birkenshaw’s back wheel entering the 3rd turn and smashing into the mesh fence before air fences and ending up in Sheffield hospital,,I still have the race jacket which I ripped open on my handlebar clamps,but I still didn’t mind riding there for 15 or more years as an away rider even though I was usually crap there 😂 but it was an easy place to ride and never considered it dangerous -
I actually said as soon as Sheffield beat us at Foxhall they will finish top and that the play offs have been picked wrongly once again. -

If you were a Sheffield supporter I'd feel more worried for Sheffield!! -
They have done away with riders as assets, they are classed as self employed
