The TV deal has never required a minimum number of teams. It's the BSPL themselves who want at least 6 clubs to make a PL worthwhile. -

Could it be….. No TV deal and they go with 5 teams, TV deal and they use the money to run another team or 2? I’ve heard a rumour that all teams are prepared to chip in and run another team between them to secure a TV deal if that deal requires a minimum number of teams like the last one did. For example run a team on an existing track -

As I said Championship rules and teams have been agreed hence lots of signing announcements. To date there’s not been a single premiership signing announced -
I think Poole will obviously be good but I don’t think many teams are gunna fear them as much as previous years. I think this could be the weakest Poole team put out for a while potentially, on the flip I think it could be one of the stronger Plymouth teams for a while. so should make for some good meetings. Besides we didn’t lose at home to you last year.

Nicholls and King makes for an interesting heat 15, whether that leaves enough for a balanced team is the question? Surely Plymouth fans will always be worried by what Poole have?! *"&-
