Not going to happen I know, but could it be possible to call off a TV meeting, have all riders secretly available. If the weather's half decent, call it back on at lunch time for a 7pm start? TNT wouldn't have time to set up = more through the gate for a bank holiday meeting. 🤔 It's the type of sneaky s#!t I'd try & pull off.

Would these costs be paid by Birmingham Speedway, or TNT sports?. I would have assumed the latter.

I was saying as Birmingham were due to race twice tomorrow, calling off the evening meeting wouldn't save on air fares like it would in normal circumstances.

All the riders would be in the country? I doubt that when a hand full of them rode in Poland today.

It’s more due to it being a tv meeting that this has been called off early as probably around £10,000 has been saved than if they had waited until the morning as OB trucks were due to arrive this evening then overnight security plus if cancel on day have to pay 25 freelance staff plus Abi daily fee so will always be the same for tv meetings as contractually they still have to return
