i think the guys that that wanted to bring speedway to Northampton didnt realise the cost it would take so they next best option is to invest in oxford and keep the prem team going, whether they change name i dont know or just keep the oxford spiers going - 
						
						Premier League teams are allowed to lose £105 million over a 3 year period and most of them often do, usually they need to sell at least 1 of their best/young players to bring them within that figure, Aston Villa are a classic example, they have HAD to sell Douglas Luiz and Jacob Ramsey in recent seasons to remain under that figure. The difference is that football has massive annual Tv income, whereas Speedway has relative peanuts.
