I got a sponsor at long Eaton in 1996 and he remained a sponsor till I retired in 2012 and even then I remained in touch till he passed away 2 years ago, I never asked anything of him and was very greatful for whatever sponsorship he gave me which over the 16 years was quite a fair bit,I think it’s called respect and although most riders are respectful I have seen a few over the years who imo took the pee -
2025: 322 meetings 2004: 1095 meetings All-time high- 1300 in 1978. Sobering stats.

You may joke but I like Batch, he's welcome at Poole any time whatever Shov thinks! 👍 I know Plymouth are hardly going to announce Lawson but be a bit awkward if they did. Plymouth announce him at 7pm and then it's the Poole end of season party the same night lol. -
I agree the safety fence would be the biggest investment. The track is nearly all clay, so would need a good bit of work to make it smooth, wouldn't take long to do, maybe use more of a shale surface than clay. The stock car people have pretty much all the equipment that would be needed, if speedway were allowed to use it?
