No complaints with a two league (+NDL) structure in theory. I’d personally prefer one league but can see the reasons why two should remain (not enough riders is an absolute myth though). However, if it’s true that the Premiership is only consisting of 5 teams next season, then what is the point? In all serious. What is the point? It would be the same opposition 3/4 times and I’m assuming it would just be a Grand Final? As play offs with 4 of the 5 making them would be a disgrace. A 5 team league surely can’t be allowed, would make the sport even more of an embarrassment to the general public than it already is. 6 is barely acceptable, but 5 would be a complete joke

An interview with Rafal Dobrucki in this weeks excellent Speedway Star tells you all you need to know about the psyche of those who run Speedway in Poland... "Poland provides the livelihood of the sport" being just one of his comments... "Poland speedway effectively sponsors the entire World Championship" being another... Got to say, the Speedway Star, whilst always being a good read, has really dialled up the levels in the past 12 months or so with it's features....

Arry is an ambassador for Bet Victor triffic. Get them involved with some big sponsorship if Rachel from accounts dont put the gambling tax up. Let supporters bet on the races that would bring more people in.  When you buy a ticket you get a free bet and a free drink from the bar like they do  at the dogs.  Worth a go.  Bet Victor run adverts on Sky and TNT at half time or before the football on a Sunday with Arry in it to drum up support.

I would like to see Sam back at Berwick but at reserve which i think was the idea, until Borke was released shoving Sam up to Number 2 where he found the going tough.

Bowes would be a surprise if he turned up at Poole, I don't think his off track antics at the end of the season would have helped. A rider that would increase his average in a weaker league certainly.
