  1. Klindt didn’t leave the track until 11.45 last night, hadn’t slept when he arrived in the UK this morning and hope to grab a few hours in a hotel before tonight’s meeting. Spot the pro.

  2. Micheal Lee was many things. I’m just thankful that I got to see him in his pomp. Robert Lambert is a fine rider. In Lee’s class ? Not a chance. Look what Lee was doing to the best the World had to offer when he was 20/21.

  3. Can only think that Cook has pictures of someone with influence hanging out of the back end of a donkey to have got away with this

  4. So you’re a Belle Vue fan, living in Manchester and your team have made a cup final. Their opponents tonight feature a recent world champion and are considered to be amongst one of the top teams in the country. Two top teams racing on what’s said to be the top track in the country and you can’t be bothered. Are you sure youre you’re a speedway fan ?

  5. So your happy that klindt wipes out craig cook disgraceful comment

  6. I wonder if Wirtzfeld for Lambert makes KL stronger.....Probably in someone's eyes it will

  7. A crazy decision, and it really is who you know and how much money you are prepared to spend.

  8. This is going to be good, i think we all know who will be along soon showing there disgust at this decision. .

  9. Why turn up.... Because he has a contract and an obligation to, that's why.. Dear oh dear He might have a good reason, but either way your comment isn't a good one. I don't think he will be over here next season.

  10. Rides for your club, completely reasonable fine and well dealt with. Rides for another club, its a disgrace and the system is corrupt. He shud be banned for life and his kids too just in case. Who needs your soap operas.

  11. Makes me laugh when people moan non stop about less meetings every year and thats a reason why people lose the bug for speedway. Then you get a cup final, decent weather, 2 good teams and the last meeting until March and people don't go!!! Absolute madness!!!

  12. For the avoidance of any doubt Craig Cook has had his ban rescinded, the fine will hopefully be covered with a collection ,the Cook haters are free to vent there bile sorry input. If Carlsberg done Speedway appeals they would probably do it something like this.

  13. Gives the rabid anti -cook brigade a reason for living today , this is going to be funny

  14. An explanation as to why might have been useful. Seems unfair on the riders that did receive a ban.

  15. It would be unbelievable and a disgrace, other than it's no surprise. Stitch up and cover up. Sports a joke.

  16. Wonder if we should see if they'll do a collection at Eastbourne on Saturday to help pay his fine....

  18. It is just wrong and a facility is not allowed R/R or otherwise!

  19. If Robert has decided he can’t be bothered to travel back for tonight that’s pretty unforgivable. However why not just use his injuries as a reason if that is the case? Meanwhile let’s hope the professional Klindt doesn’t wipe anyone out through tiredness and fatigue.

  20. For one so young and still very early in his career, he does seem to have more than his fair share of "issues" when it comes to attending all his scheduled Speedway meetings in the UK doesn't he? Must be just unlucky...

  21. Kennett use to ‘not turn up’ at Lynn plenty of times in the past. As for Cook if the guy was ill and someone pushed all the right/wrong buttons why on earth should the guy be punished further ? Time some people learnt a little humility. Honestly it’s not hard and might make you be seen as a better person.

  22. I reckon we should do a collection on Saturday to pay his fine. That should burst a fair few blood vessels.

  23. It is either: 1..Steve has put it on here because he believes it is pretty accurate Or 2. He thinks it is a load of rubbish but it will wind everyone up, mainly the Swindon lot so decided to post it anyway. !!

  24. He was at Brussels Airport and his flight got delayed to post 7pm... Nice photo of the runway from Kenny as he waited.. No mention of injury.... Until it was obvious he wasn't going to make the meeting. .

  25. IMO the will NEVER be a 16 year old as good as Lee

  26. In my role I do quite a few appeals on disciplinary matters which involve dismissal, and spend quite a lot of my time reviewing the process followed before either over turning or up holding the decision made.. It does appear something quite obvious may have happened/been missed, for him to a) not get banned soon after the incident like the others and b) not get banned after the appeal hearing when all the facts had been reviewed.. What obviously appeared to be an 'open and shut case' in the 'trial by social media' looks like it wasn't quite what it seemed.. As you say, maybe someone should be now getting some 'feedback'...

  27. My band offered to play but the stadium owners said it would be a danger if everyone went to the bar at the same time.

  28. That sort of spikey remark is inappropriate. Wirtzfeld is a 16 year old who has done a full season with the Isle of Wight in the National League and has improved as the season has gone on. I would guess he is in the Southern League second half and was an easy option for Lynn. He will be out of his depth tonight but will use it as a learning experience and you Mr Wolfie should note his name as a rider with potential for the future.

  29. And you wonder why the fans don't go anymore. Its just another nail...…. Lambert wont need to worry next year, they're wont be any speedway to for him to ride...….

  30. He's a NL rider for Isle of Wight Warriors - used to be Poole's mascot

  31. I fully respect your view on this but I don't share it. By all accounts Craig was in a bad way at Wolverhampton, and it seems, at Sheffield the previous night. I fully sympathise with his condition, but if he is that volatile then he should probably be taking time off to seek professional help, not just using it as an excuse for his actions

  32. Lambert missed his flight! NL guest in.

  33. It’s not a surprise as at the time of the appeal being accepted you knew there was only one outcome. The sport is corrupt and that’s one of the reasons it’s dying a death.

  34. But what Steve forgets is Douglas for Wells far out does the King's Lynn changes by a long way.So on that score Poole should win by more than what was first expected. Surely some of you Poole fans must cringe at some of the drivel Steve comes out with every time Poole have a meeting.

  35. Is anyone really suprised. The old boys club make it up as they go along. No wonder the fans are leaving in their droves.

  36. Harris could be at Poole 3 weeks on the trot - should be like a home track for him by the time the play off match takes place ..... Up the Witches

  37. And was the cheque signed by the facennas? We need to know how they reached this conclusion and the reasons. I can see kennett and Vissing taking legal action for loss of earnings. It was Cook’s reaction which started the melee which prompted their actions.

  38. That is disgusting the other riders missed vital meetings

  43. That's my "boy" nowadays ( Robert Lambert ) and I do rave about him but like Mr Webb I am not blind to Robert's faults. Interestingly back in the day, Michael Lee was even more of The One for me and oddly enough I don't think Robert will be as good as Michael was ( on track ). We can only hope that Robert has a longer, less controversial racing career than Michael. I certainly wasn't blind to Michael's faults either ( that was never possible ). Having been born and bred in Norwich my first great hero was Ove Fundin and Michael Lee "took over" from him just as Robert has done for me this century.

  44. Fair enough but I think you would do well to remember that he is still only twenty one and has had a couple of horrendous crashes. He needs supporting rather than labelling poor.

  45. Who are the loads stating they are not going? There is only one on here. Why would anyone go to previous rounds and then not bother with the final? If it's because we might lose them it's a lame excuse.

  48. You certainly have that quoting down to a fine art. Weren't you trapping off about how good the aces would be and how poor Ipswich would be when season first started. And I remember you telling me how good the Aces would be away after I said the would be the rubbish away. Be humble

  49. One would imagine it was orders from the Swindon camp not to risk Adam in ht15 unless it was really necessary.. You don't have a rider who wins 4 races going into last ht decider and not race in it really odd
