Rowe wants to ride more in Poland where he has offers, good contacts from a spell in 2020 and also potentially fast bikes prepared by one of the top UK tuners based over there. If that's where he wants to focus people should respect that and he certainly doesn't have the big fish in a small bowl some UK riders suffer from and have all of their careers. He's not going to be riding for any Friday / Saturday / Sunday track in UK on that basis and as U24 league is on a Tuesday in Poland that really narrows his CL options you'd think for a home track and he'd miss a lot of away matches. Fait play to the kid, he's showing ambition

What if the dog isn't at all bothered by the 'noisy environment'? I always took a dog with me when going alone to Oxford, Wolverhampton, Peterborough, Coventry or Leicester. None of them have ever shown the slightest concern about noisy motorbikes, in fact quite the opposite as they just went to sleep on a blanket while the match was on. Border Collies too that are supposed to be lively.

Last night was a half decent watch without hitting the heights that the NSS has on many previous occasions, I think the missing riders contributed to that and R/R is always a nuisance. There is no if, BV is by far the best track i the country and very rarely is the inside line the quickest, usually there are multiple fast lines.

I live 7miles from the centre of Leicester and seven miles from the stadium. It didn,t stop raining until late afternoon and so the call was right in my opinion.

To be fair Rob Grant said there would be changes for the Leicester match & he isn’t lying . The change is Kyle Howarth is not guesting at no 1 he is going to ride against Newcastle instead

It is as long as the weather is set absolutely fair and there are no showers about, some people like to decide at the last minute whether to go or not having been messed about by riders, promoters and referees in the past when there has been some late-in-the-day wet stuff.

Hi Norbold I think I paid around £15--£20 for the programmes. But I have seen a excellent condition programme go for between £30-£50 which is surpringing for a vastly printed programme from 1961. Each copy has a unique number on the front cover.

Another entertaining meeting from the NSS - fans staying home to watch is understandable I think £20 + to get in while can watch on tv if already paying for Eurosport makes no sense in paying twice - along with cost of living expenses it makes complete sense to watch from home . Not even convinced reduced admission would make much difference to crowd levels at tv meetings nowadays.

Not so sure Discovery will be happy with the lack of support on the terraces like at Ipswich. Ur trying to sell a product to a new audience to attend and any potential new audience will be thinking "well it can't be that appealing coz hardly anyone attends". If I was the head of sport at Discovery I'd be thinking this is very embarrassing for our name. Even if TV viewing figures are holding up is it mainly hardcore fans that are watching? Finally put it this way.......if you watched a sport on TV that you hadn't seen before would you be encouraged to go or even watch on TV again if there were hardly any spectators in attendance?

The call was definitely right!! I've been to the track today, could not even walk on it without it clumping up on my boots, not a chance of getting a tractor on it today, I have taken around 20 thousand ltrs of water from the drains and track tonight.

I think that in all fairness to him... It must be difficult to try and hold an interview in a language that is not your natural one.. But Sam is trying his best..

The youth championship was in the fixture list at the start of the season. It's been in the programme every week. It was announced multiple times at the track v. Poole. Agree it's poor the websites is not updated regularly but the meeting was well advertised elsewhere

That "shower of rubbish" as you phrase it, happens to be a lot of supporters speedway team,and yes,they are struggling at the moment,but in light of the risk they take by coming out to ride week in week out for our entertainment,can't you just,for once,cut some slack for this famous club.the riders confidence will be low at the moment and the likes of your comments don,t help.do you really want to lose another club like we can really afford to at the moment?
