So you'd prefer disgruntled fans to just put up & shut up? When they've had enough, walk away silently? Come on Mimmo. I'd always spoken face to face with JC when he was there & Buster. They actually listened. Whether they did anything or not didn't matter, they listened. I felt wanted. When Wagstaff was in charge he made the fans feel wanted, easy to talk to about anything, it could be argued we were even worse than now back then. Anyone tried speaking with Allitt about their unhappiness yet? He does not (or didn't then anyway) take negativity well at all. Told me I have know idea what I'm talking about (a few expletives) & turned on his heels. He never spoke to me again. Point is, when you try to show your discontent face to face & they disrespect you as a life long fan only so much can be taken. It does look like, with the teams being put out year on year, Allitt still doesn't get it. Personally, Allitt is the biggest problem for King's Lynn (& Peterborough) but it all falls back on Buster because he employs this guy. It may be unfortunate for you Mimmo that everyone's unhappiness is exhausted on a forum (a social media) but that's the modern world. Everyone now has a voice. Apart from trolls, most people are very constructive but it's not being listened to at all. That could be said for every Premiership club to be honest. As horrible as it can get on here at times, every single promoter & manager should be reading this forum. There 'head in the sand' mentality is not working for this sport what so ever. Sheffield & Ipswich are very fortunate they have a 'sugar daddy' sponsor at the moment. In actual fact, we had that sponsor ourselves, wonder why they left us?!?!? Belle Vue are sticking in there competitively. It's not a coincidence King's Lynn & Peterborough are the 2 worst run Premiership clubs mate. Mimmo, this sport is dying, fans should not be silenced, they have to be allowed to demand change in anyway they see fit.3 points

The problem that you’ve got is some fans and I use the word some specifically because it’s not all before I get shouted down by anyone, are blinded by what’s going on and are happy too ‘just have a club to support’ which yes I get but there’s no realism in that, that’s like sending kids out on a pitch against United or something like that, essentially a hammering takes place and it’s not worth the money and it’s VERY difficult to get behind and take positives from. I’m glad we still have a club to support but serious questions should be asked over the point of it all when said owner knows he’s tracking a weak team to prop up the table. Just don’t understand it personally.3 points

If you put as much energy into starting a campaign to keep your club open as you are into calling for your club to close immediately just because you're not winning you may stand a chance of continuing into the future. Having had 3 of the clubs I supported close over the years, I wouldn't wish it on any one.3 points

From where I was sitting - and I had a very good view - the referee's decision was correct.2 points

Was it not? You guys have made a strong start, Plymouth haven't and both R/R's looked to be in Poole's favour. I was thinking 40-50 and I guess if Steve Worrall had scored to his average it could have been but hey ho, fair play Gladiators.2 points

Without making it easy for people they'll not get hundreds so the club (possibly the supporters club if Chapman doesn't want to rock the boat) need to draw up a downloadable template/s, with the addition of the details of where it needs to go (preferably e-mail for ease), so that supporters only have to enter their personal details and date it. That should bump up the numbers, especially if the request is circulated elsewhere via social media.2 points

I've spoken to @Mick Bratley and Michael Tomalin regarding this and the consensus is as below The time to start one is when we actually get to look at AEPGs plans and see, I suspect, that there is no provision for a new venue which is against the LP30 policy that is committed to in the Peterborough Local Plan. That is, I believe, the best angle of attack. Also we need to get as many people to make objections to the plan as possible, if we can get the objections in the thousands, somebody somewhere might notice and say, hang on a minute.2 points

Just reading the Speedway Star coverage of the Wolves issue and truly cannot believe what I have just read as comments publicly attributed to as being made by the Chairman of British Speedway, Rob Godfrey.. Referring to the decision to give Wolves Speedway a years notice by the owner of the stadium (Entain Group), he is quoted as saying.. "This stands out as a bizarre and ludicrous decision to end the tenancy of a well supported, successful, viable club which has a great history in Speedway dating back nearly 100 years".. He then goes on to mention "fighting tooth and nail", and "forming an Action Group" to try and prevent Wolves from joining the many others that have gone over the past decade in particular... Imagine being the CEO of Entain Group and seeing, publicly, the business decision you have made, (made presumably after going into the great detail and deliberation that these fundamental business decisions require) being described as "bizzare" and "ludicrous"? How engaged would you feel to enter into any further negotiations with the person uttering such comments about your decision making process, and therefore, by inference, your own individual competence? When you enter into negotiations with companies, you ensure you remain professional and cordial, and never, ever, be openly critical of their initial decision, particularly when you are coming from a position of weakness and they hold most of the cards needing to be played.. Best wishes to Wolves, but an approach to change their mind based on negatively questioning their decision wont end well believe me... Let's hope whoever is doing the negotiations is a professional in dealing with such issues..2 points

Personally i think Peterborough and all clubs should be looking to follow the Leicester model. Council owned land leased back on a 99 year contract. The sport needs to move away from being tenants to private landlords and/or here today gone tomorrow promoters.2 points

He did indeed ride but regretted it. He’s suffering from some sort of brain fog and dizziness that they can’t get to the bottom of. He thought he was improving slightly so gave it a go for Germany, but the same issues reared up again and he struggled to hang on to the bike. He could be missing for a while.2 points

Of course you don’t! LOL nobody has to watch them to know that Craig Cook is a better rider than Ben Cook. Your bias towards anything related to Poole is literally off the scale and the reason anything you post regarding them can’t be taken seriously.2 points
-
Because what business man would, buster wants well over 100 grand for the club, and for what ,, the brand, shale and air bags, then if MT does buy it he’s then got to fork out probably 750 grand for new land and build something similar to Leicester. It’s a million pound investment which you will never get back2 points

Ben Cook over Craig Cook any day of the week, if that change was made then they most certainly have lost the plot2 points
-
Still essentially punishing one of the few that’s put in some steady performances. And too your point, Craig cook isn’t a free scoring rider, who knows what he’s capable of from one meeting too the next, don’t need another unpredictable rider in a team full of unpredictable riders2 points

Sorry, but it’s only what the play off system is using. Can only have a guest from the clubs that aren’t involved.2 points

This team clearly was not going to deliver, it's performing exactly as I thought it would, but hoped would be proved wrong. Only a few fixtures in, but the writing is well and truly on the wall. It hurts as a fan of nearly 40 years .Although I cannot get to every meeting I am seriously considering for the rest of this season crossing the border to watch speedway at Foxhall, can't believe I'm saying that, but cannot face another season of being the whipping boys going into every fixture expecting to loose2 points

King's Lynn HAVE to find a Klindt replacement before his average drops even lower. Of all the rider's, he is the first for the chopping block. There has to be someone out there with close to a 7.39, get them in before the 1st.1 point

Think that’s pretty harsh. Decent team man last season for us. Frustrating how hot and cold he was form wise but nothing against the bloke.1 point

Agreed British speedway always take the easy option rather than building credibility. Why go to the effort of signing an injury replacement when you can just borrow another teams rider. What a sport!1 point

Cook will score better than Andersen for me. However that's why I mentioned Ben Cook and got laughed at. If we're looking at the future and Ben will stay loyal I get why we'd do it but then you need to make at least 3 changes in the main body of the team1 point
-
Problem is other options. Drop Klindt and a couple of others sure, but who is out there and within a tight budget that could come in and strengthen? Isn’t easy or straightforward. Very few who would make a difference want to race here, and those that would consider it are very expensive. It’s the age old problem isn’t it. I’m not sure how well off Lynn are as a club in terms of sponsorship? I’d guess nowhere near as much as others, my team Ipswich included. All well and good supporters wanting better riders and a strong team, we all want that, but it isn’t us that has to pay the money to get them and potentially face the financial losses that we all get told most clubs make. It’s a fine line balancing what you can afford and risk losing the punters through not being competitive, and pushing the boat out for a few expensive riders and hoping that the extra gate receipts go some way to paying for them.1 point
-
They look and should be a fairly solid team, but that relies on them all performing and in my mind there are too many inconsistent riders...too many gambles. NK did nothing last season to justify his inclusion, TJ lovely fella, can score well, but too inconsistent and in my view has had too many chances with us. MPT, last season's injury would have concerned me but if that was/ has healed, yes would have had a punt on him. KK, need I say anything, but so pleased for his max against Wolves. Picko, still think we could get more points from him, but he's a trier. Fred, disappointed with him so far. So far even Jason doesn't seem to have carried last season's form across, but we shouldn't have to rely on his points, he,s learning. I don't believe the riders go out with the intent to ride badly, the fault lies with those that put them there.1 point

Flip flop between the two as it stands. I've got no interest in giving Buster another penny of my money but I'll gladly turn up every week if Tomalin owned the club.1 point

I think the critisism of Basso is unfair. In a weak team more of him is expected than he can deliver, and as a young upcoming (and very talented) rider he can't be expected to score big in every match.1 point

Richie stayed over after the GB meeting in Germany on Saturday and has driven to italy for his meeting tomorrow he would not have had time to take his bikes back to UK then back over to Italy and will drive back straight after the meeting there1 point

I don't blame Buster,a lot of this lies with Allitt imo.As many have noticed Buster takes more of a back seat these days.Things started changing at Lynn when Allitt became involved. In years gone by Buster wouldn't have thought twice about getting someone else in once they become available.Allitt now has more influence hence why there hasn't been a change tonight.1 point

I was willing to give them the benefit of doubt to start with re Lambert tonight,as there really wasn't anyone available at the time. But as soon as the Wolves match was off they should of been on the phone to the riders in that match who could have covered for Pickering.I am pissed off as it seems they have sat on their arses and done bugger all.One of those riders would have done it I'm sure as they were all set to do a meeting anyway. 2 things wrong in your statement lynnboy, whenever have you ever done any hard work And have you really been going 40 years, you don't look a day over 251 point
