Of course he is like you, the amount of time you spend on here defending him, you must be his love child lol.5 points

People just want to be offended on anything and everything these days. Congratulations on offending those who want to be on a tongue in cheek post.5 points

You can widen the track as much as you want but if you prepare a track where there is virtually only one line then what you do with the rest is next to useless.4 points

Getting back on track, I found as a retired Barrister, the most interesting part of the SCB statement was; A further charge of: * 018.2 Breach of Rules c) Any attempt to influence improperly an official in the course of their duties. was withdrawn. Draw your own conclusions...... By the sounds of this he may have been a very lucky boy to only be banned for a couple of years.4 points

crucifixion, ? yes! line on the left 1 cross each. crucifixion? no! freedom, for me. oh. ok4 points

Lambert has been honest, he's here because his foreign commitments have dried up. Kings Lynn know this & are happy to sign him under the circumstances. Lynn fans should be happy they've a stronger number one. I see no downside to the situation.4 points

The amount of people on FB groups defending him or pretending he doesn’t have a problem of some sort is absolutely ridiculous.4 points

Neither is compassion going by the odd walloper on this thread. Mental health shouldn’t be treated as a joke on this website.3 points

Just read Dale Allitt's statement regarding Lambert's replacement for Laguta. So it was because Artem struggled with the smaller tracks was it? B*ll*cks! He was a recent world champion and should be experienced/well rounded enough to adapt and handle all tracks (needs to have a word with one of his fellow countrymen). Its obvious to the speedway public there there were other issues with Laguta.3 points

As far as I understand it, he would have had to pay for all his expenses (fuel to get there and back being the main one), plus time to get there and back, just on the off-chance of getting a ride. Therefore, you have to sympathize with him on that one. As someone pointed out after withdrawing from the British Final, all speedway riders are self employed and have every right not to ride in these types of meetings, if they so wish. You can see it from both angles, but I think I have to agree with Connor Bailey here. Whilst it is an honour to ride for your country, should you have to pay for that privilege ??3 points

Berwick Bandits had 3 home matches between 6th May to 22nd July, that tells you everything you need to know about the fixture schedule.3 points

You have to beware of the “ woke” society these days. Comedy is not a career it would seem.3 points

They say they build Teams too a budget to protect the future of Speedway at Berwick. It’s a fine line and it has too be entertaining to keep the crowd levels. There have been a couple of decent matches this season IMO,but results have been poor. The fixture list has been a shambles.Even now we have we Glasgow turning up without Harris a big attraction especially at Berwick when it been known all season he was in World Longtrack.with all these blank Saturdays throughout the season. It turning fans off the sport. Fans can accept guests for injuries, but they turn up every week for all sorts of reason nowadays.3 points

Should put Harris on 15 metres at least once every meeting, that was brilliant to watch . Good night all round with much hilarity with the score from the other end of the M82 points

What are you on about? The race was stopped on a 4-2 (although Charles was very close to passing Sedgmen, hence why it wasn’t awarded) and the re-run was a 4-2 to Brum? Birmingham did well but were greatly improved by having Lawson at 1 instead of Morris (16 for Lawson, Morris scored 2 here last time). Sedgmen had a typical meeting at Redcar and I thought Starke did well (as he should at Reserve). Solid enough from the Bears top 5 but the reserves were heavily outscored. Need to improve for the play offs. Some decent, fast racing on a well prepared track.2 points

Not saying you seem to be the sort of person that believes any two bob crazy conspiracy, but you do I mean it seems you are not only scared or is it obsessed with trans people, but you even admitted the other day you were scared of using cards to pay. Yet they, if they are as powerful and clever as you think, can track your every move with the mobile phone, the chip they planted in your car or motorbike or even pushbike, or even if you have ever had surgery etc in your body. They can monitor every transaction made in every shop or sporting event. They can even follow you by drone or satellite and can listen in on every convo you have had in your life.. If you are of that persuasion..... And you even announce on here where you are going or not going !!2 points

ifs buts and maybe's.....the long and short of it is, if you do not provide a specimen when asked to, whether its your first or hundredth then it should be treated as a failure...it isn't rocket science folks.2 points

I did write him down, but crossed him out as the brief was British League era. Les Hewitt (Coventry 1949-53) similarly falls by the wayside.2 points

I think that's right. Kings lynn could have used morris at kings lynn due to the 5pc uplift for home riders but it was decided to keep the same riders home and away to maintain integrity .Ellis had a mare for lynn and we lost2 points

Given Vatcher's history in dragging these kids half way around Europe and not giving them a sniff at a heat when named as reserve I would have done the same thing.2 points

I’m only going as it’s my lads first season watching speedway. I wanted to give him that big event experience. He’s dragging along a school mate, hopefully two new recruits for life.2 points

I thought Dickson was an astute team manager, but over looking the opportunity to use Fricke as T/S in heat 5 seemed a mistake. He was not eligible for a R/R ride so this would have been the only opportunity to bring him in as a replacement in this slot. At the end of the night however this matter became irrelevant as the Lions were consistently out gated and were frequently passed even after trapping. Lions have now lost the last two home meetings comfortably and whilst I’m not a fan of the rider revolving door, it will no doubt be in motion again before the transfer cut off.2 points

Same thing really. A non-negative result just means a drug test that shows up an illegal substance before it’s been sent for lab analysis (A Test). All drug tests on site will either be ‘negative’ or ‘non-negative’ at the time they are taken. Ben Barker’s test was lab tested later (B Test) and upgraded to ‘positive’, which the SCB confirmed in a statement at the time. He got a more lenient ban because the drug he tested positive for was used for pain relief, it wasn’t recreational or performance enhancing, and the SCB accepted this.2 points

It wouldn't surprise me if Robert Lambert rides in the playoffs again, guesting for one of the 4 teams.2 points

Signing a 7 point rider on a 9.5 average hasnt helped matters. It pushed valuable points away from the lower order and made the team even weaker, though I appreciate there may not have been many options out there.2 points

This must rank as one of the most audacious stunts ever since Belle Vue signed R. Lambert for the p. offs last year. We can only assume Lambert is a good deal cheaper per meeting than Lagoota, as the Lynn owner repeatedly has claimed the KL side is "over budget" The entire structure of British Speedway is akin to a game of musical chairs with riders shuffling around from team to team. Every year this forum brings me a good few laughs. You think it cannot get any worse but it does.2 points

Everyone in motorcycling has a right to compete in a safe and fair environment with an emphasis on safety in motor sport, and regardless of the level they participate at, have the right to compete knowing that they and their competitors have not taken any banned performance-enhancing drugs. Led by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), which is responsible for the collaborative worldwide campaign for clean sport, The ACU works in partnership with UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) and the international governing body FIM to crack down on doping and ensure the integrity of our sport is protected. Now that we are out of covid restrictions and events are getting back to pre-pandemic levels, we have recommenced drug testing which have and will continue to be carried out at random events throughout the county during the season, and should a test be positive, the minimum penalty for a first offence will be a two-year suspension. All involved in motorcycle sport have the right to compete in knowing that they, and others involved in our sport are clean. The use of performance-enhancing drugs and other doping behaviour severely damages the legitimacy of sport and undermines the integrity of those who are clean within our sport.2 points

Thanks for your “concern” Yes Craig has only just got his bike back but you don’t break a light standard in half without causing damage and, yes I hope the ref has his / her eyes on ALL riders at the start2 points
