Maybe give him a call if you think it’s easy ? They are speaking directly to Mercedes and locksmith’s to solve the issue. They are having the whole electronic key system replaced today at a considerable expense so hopefully they will be able to race at the weekend. The only other option is to cut the doors off. Well thats no good at all. Expecting fans to pay and turn up to see a bang average foreigner not try hard cos he isnt fit. Another reason fans stay away. The day that clubs and promotions rule the roost rather than riders, especially mediocre foreign riders, is the day the sport may start heading upwards rather than down the sewer.

Heard off a VERY reliable source here in Aussie this week that Lawson is off to Edinburgh and B. Cook is off to Glasgow as second heatleader. May be a rumour but doubtful going by the person who told me.

Tbh, I don't think that's relevant. Fans need to decide if they think the price is value for money. If they don't think it is & stop attending, it won't matter if the promotion knows more than the fans i.e how much it costs to put meetings on. I'll use Justin Sedgmen as an example, I've seen interviews, where he explains how expensive Speedway is, with tuning, travel expenses etc as a reason for riders deserving more money. But that's not how a business works - a promotion can only pay out, what comes in (unless they are willing to lose money). If clubs only get 500 attending matches, the riders wages should be based on this income (plus sponsorship), riders can't just demand more money to pay for the very best equipment!

I see the silly season has started, I very much doubt that the Cooks would leave Poole, bet they are both there in 24

Its quite probable the Cooks will be at Poole next season.

I do love it when the "I know more than you do " brigade show up. My assumption would be with the Riders that are leaving announced, that Bomber, Complin and Ace are most probably staying. The trick will be to get a strong 5 in probably around the 8 mark so it doesn't take a genius to work out that it's coming from the batch of ........ King,Worral,Kerr,cook,Lawson,Nichols,howarth or Wright. I would also assume by taking one of those at 5 to get a heat leader at 3 would be between 5.5 and 6.5, leaving two riders in the 4's - 5's to fill the second strings. Watching what other teams are doing helps you narrow everything down.

Pedersen for me just had a bit more of a ruthless streak compared to Crump. Also the man to stop Rickardsson winning 3 on the trot. Crump tho I think got 10 top 3 medals in a row. But if both in their primes, Pedersen would of beaten Crump for me. Either way both superb riders. Now back to Sheffield 2024

Bet Poole fans absolutely hate not being the big money club these days. Can you imagine 10 years ago Glasgow paying way more than Poole for top prospects? Haha. First Basso and now Ben Cook. And probably his brother as can't see one going with out the other.Maybe Poole will have to keep S Worrall afterall.
