I'm off... before the Poole fans get here, congratulations on winning the lower league š5 points

Young lad should be careful what he wishes for. You actually need to have talent on a Speedway bike if you want to play a panto villain role like Nicki P.5 points

50/50 decision, Killeen can count himself unlucky but so could foord if it went other way, love Vinnie winding up Oxford fans, what speedway needs5 points
-
If being hit in the head impacted his performance at Oxford, he shouldn't have been allowed to continue.... let alone be racing tonight.5 points

If that was his dad giving it the big one as they walked off the track then I'm sorry but he's not alright at all, he's a complete cock for the way he was behaving.4 points

Vinnie Foord should have his license taken away. He's a bull in a china shop that's either going to put himself in a wheelchair or someone else. A big difference in a tough racer and someone who is out of control and a danger to everyone involved.4 points

If that's the case should have been ruled out and scb should susspend his licence just like a refused drug test I'm a big fan of Tom's but sorry that's putting others at risk4 points

I wasnt saying he is like a journeyman like kasprazak, itās the point about him wining a race beating the best and then shutting off in his next ride and goes missing, it isnāt a slight lack of confidence itās a massive lack of confidence,as I said there is a difference between losing and shutting off, shutting off is a sign you donāt want to be there and for a rider so young thatās a problem, what I see is a rider who doesnāt like to be in traffic, is a world beater when he gets fresh air but gets frightened when anyone around him3 points

Thomsen has been decent for Poole this year. The score is all that has kept this meeting entertaining. The racing has been terrible.3 points

Great meeting, tough racing and lots of controversy. It's what it should be all about. What BSN do so much better than Eurosport is transferring the crowd atmosphere onto the screen. Super stuff!3 points

There is no doubt Pedersen was dirty but he knew exactly where he was putting his bike and was levels and levels above Foord ability wise. Think Foord is more Jason Garrity than Nicki Pedersen.3 points
-
Half the GP said Nicki Pedersen was dangerous, didnāt stop him being 3 times world champ, speedway isnāt a popularity contest3 points
-
Interesting bit of commentary there. Vinnie Ford might have to borrow someone else's bike for his remaining rides. If you were a rider, would you lend him a bike?3 points
-
More worrying is that he doesnāt think heās done anything wrong!3 points

Boughen not interested, going through the motions no commitment.3 points

The refereeing up and down the country this year has been the absolute worst I can ever remember!3 points

What an awful spectacle so far. It is easy to see why the sport rarely attracts new fans, if this was your first time watching you'd of switched off by now.3 points

If Vinnie Foord doesnāt seriously injury himself, heās going to seriously injury somebody else. Absolute liability on a bike.3 points

It's not. They're in because there are GPs in Germany and Czechia. That's neither woke nor anything to do with diversity. It's a questionable business decision, nothing more.3 points

Give me 40 with an 8 team league and 2H2A, rather than 38 with a 9 team league and 1H1A.3 points

Just got back from a fantastic final. If you didnāt like that you donāt like speedway. Huge crowd, fantastic atmosphere wound up to eleven, top aggressive riding and knocked the Belle Vue / Leicester PO final into a cocked hat. First of all commiserations to Oxford who battled well in the final and had a deserved advantage coming into the second leg. 12 points is a hell of a lead with no tactical allowed. But it seemed there was trouble afoot in the Oxford camp before tapes up. Boughen had upset the management and rumours said he was packed and in his van by heat 13 of the first leg. Then his failure to show in the u19 final the following day. Hearsay today is that he wants to go to Glasgow. Be interesting how this plays out. Killeen was meant to be a serious threat at reserve but before the meeting it was very quiet on his fitness after taking a heavy fall in the U19ās at Cowley. Given a hard time in heat 2, and rightly excluded, he then fell on his own which ended his evening. Paid 14 last time, zero tonight. Every race was tough. Every rider giving beyond their comfort zone, shown straight away in heat one. Richard Lawson said he thought he was through on Masters going into the third bend but Masters started leaning, and leaning, then slid off. Lawson thought it was a tactical fall but those are the margins. Heat two and although Killeen gated, both Pirates were through on him going down the back straight. Killeen tried to get a place back but clipped Vinnie Ford and down he went. The right call and gifted Pirates a 5-1. Special mention to Tobias Thomsen with a brilliant paid 12 from 5. He started the season well, faded after an injury, but was man of the match for me. Vinnie is brilliant. Only 17 but what a battler. Never gives up. Yes he makes mistakes but I would have him signed for next year already. Going to be a bit of a star imo. Our top 4 all did their job tonight. Brennan said afterwards the reason Poole had to work hard tonight was his fault as heās employed as a heat leader but rode very poorly in the first leg and wanted to make it up. Certainly did. Both Cooks did their job though afterwards Ben was far from happy running a last. For Oxford Masters was solid but faded, Nicholls had a bit of a stinker. Gilkes was a good guest, Heeps did what Heeps does, Boughen gated in one race, Killeen was injured and Scott out of his depth. This is what our sport is about. Tonight had everything. Hard racing, drama, crashes, a huge noisy crowd and Pirates crowned Champions. Whatās not to like? Hope the Oxford fans had a safe journey home and the good news is we do it all over again next week in the KO Cup Final. Will Oxford get their revenge or will it be a clean sweep for Pirates?2 points

What a pathetic stupid comment to say. Saying a 17/18 year old is going to be in a wheelchair. You really are messed up in the head.2 points

What a surprise!!! They really are something else.2 points

Wonder if Peter shrock is thinking if i had taken boughen out of heat 12 at Oxford we would be in a last heat decider here2 points

But surely thatās an aspect which excites you about speedway, he gets an emotion out of you, surely thatās whatās life is about2 points
-
Take a bow Ashton, brilliant ride considering the night he's having, well done. Come on Oxford!!!2 points
-
Iām not defending anyone Iām just telling you what happened, if you would like the proof rewind the crash and freeze frame it shot by shot and you will see Scott starts turning into foord and once they get hooked up itās only going to end one way2 points

He has the right attitude to get to the top, if his enthusiasm will let him get there is another matter2 points

Did they not drugs test Vinnie Foord before the meeting, what planet is he on. Its the Poole āwin at all costsā mentality coming across here, and something regrettable could have happened tonight2 points
-
He's certainly a bit of a menace, but the way he is makes me think that in a couple of years time he'll be brilliant.2 points

Foord is a disgrace. An absolute danger to the other riders2 points

If king had of scored 6-7 away to Leicester in the play offs weād have been in the final, but he didnāt he scored 2 riding at no.2 heās been a fantastic servant to the club, criticisms of him often have been ott like youāve described above with people expecting him to ride beyond his level, but the fact is when itās gotten to the business end of the season in the biggest meetings heās let us down more than once. for me itās time to say thanks for the memories and move on.2 points

He took a big tumble But was it not caused by Tom lifting and going towards fence when all the others were heading left to go round first been2 points
