It's backfired on the organisers as it's clearly an attempt by them to restrict Bartek by hoping others can pick up points ahead of the event itself. Well done Bartek. Hope you ram it down their throats every sprint. If they want to improve the product, bring back the Russians and ensure it's the top 16 in the world, instead of sending out invites to riders who are clearly not top 16.5 points

Not really when he beats Zmarzlik (current world champion) in league meetings. Calm down.4 points

Can’t believe that Simon Lambert gets full quota of rides + R/R when there are 2 good reserves to take his place.4 points

So with an extra 20 points available for the sprint, that’s an extra 20 points for bartoz to win the championship by4 points

The FIM have scheduled a secret meeting for tomorrow to see how they can penalise zmarzlik at the next GP3 points

Kelv questioning whether 4 points might make it through to the top 8 was a highlight in my eyes.3 points

All the attempted positives changes to this Grand Prix series and they have still elected to have Tatum droning on repeating the same phrases on repeat. No doubt about that.3 points

The winner should be the top scorer from 20 heats (after any necessary run-off). It was bad enough when 21st heat was introduced to individual meetings, so that the winner could be the fourth best. Now the GP winner could be the tenth best. Nonsense!3 points

Think that’s unfair on Kurtz, he is proving himself in Poland, he is a natural racer, I know it’s a massive task but 3 of this years rounds are his home tracks, you take your luck when it’s handed to you3 points

That is a total insult. A lot of the riders, learn the Plymouth track. It's a technical track,it's a track of skill !! Most tracks these days are gate, open up and go. That's not racing. Plymouth is an old fashioned style riders track. If a lot of riders can't learn the art of proper speedway riding,we'll,that's their problem not Plymouths !!3 points

A blow for Gusts... It's an ill wind and all that... I wonder weather he will be back...? Coukd be a breeze for Cookie...3 points

Personally think Leicester came out with better side of the deal anyway. Cook is over the hill at this level and if he decides one evening he doesn’t fancy it, you can quite comfortably write a row of duck eggs in the programme3 points

Riders cant handle dirt ( shale) on tracks these days if only they knew the throttle works both ways !3 points

Did you see either of Bastian’s meetings, or see him walking about the town, or at the gym, or in the pits? The lad has one working leg for god sake, he should still be on crutches.3 points

He figured that out for the last 2 seasons .IMO His ride and pass of Kurtz tonight was sublime.Had to win to get 1st gate choice just stepped up and did it.2 points

Q. Who cares about Poland? A. Every single rider in the world worth his salt. What happens in the UK is completely irrelevant...2 points

Because starting in 2025 its most 3,2,1,0 then it’s fastest time by the rider on the night so head to head isn’t taken into consideration.2 points

This last chance saloon business, is it that all 8 riders go in the same heat? If not why not? That would inject life into the proceedings2 points

There is a polish fan on fourth bend fuming at the tractor drivers everytime they come round, he not happy lol2 points

Have to agree with you. Tatum saying the riders are getting their setups now. I disagree. Now the track is drying out, the boys can have a proper go. Morris will now get the water bowser out!!2 points

Says a lot about how the quality of the GP has dropped when the likes of Kurtz are top of the leader board. 20 years ago he'd have been a middle order 2nd division rider at best2 points

Always a risk signing Cook as Leicester have already experienced this year, all in all think Leicester have the better deal with Kemp2 points

And will stop promotions stock piling 'assets' to fleece others with loan fees. A good thing it's been abolished and should have been years ago.2 points

Just put BSN on and commentators confirmed what I seen (Berwick were on a 5-1 when the red lights came on).2 points

Because his leg is being held together by various braces on a daily basis. This is the right decision, he clearly isn’t fit enough yet. The problem could/should have been avoided by not signing him back in the first place until we knew for sure his fitness was not a concern, had we done that we’d be avoiding all of this carry on.2 points

World Superbike was the first major race series to feature a sprint race, which is known as the Superpole Race, the finishing order of which determines the grid positions for race 2. So F1 copied that just before MotoGP followed suit. TBH, the format works better on 2 wheels, but whether it'll be nothing more than a gimic in SGP remains to be seen.2 points

I said the other day, the team who finishes top should be champions, top four contest an end of season knockout cup, two semis and a final.2 points

The only sport I watch on telly is speedway, but I am not going to pay £31 per month for it. I thought I would watch the highlights on Dmax. Imagine my surprise when I see the SGP is allocated 30 minutes yes half an hour for 23 heats! Will it be worth watching, I wonder. At least the British matches are allocated an hour for 15 heats. Something doesn't add up with 23 heats crammed into half the time allowed for 15 heats. Thanks Discovery, you have ruined my enjoyment of Speedway, as I am not able to go to meetings anymore (Age, distance, finance etc.). I am sure this is is not what the people who gave Discovery a ten year(?) contract signed up for. Having enjoyed the coverage up until now, I can't wait to see the end of the contract and hope someone better will take over.2 points

For the first time ever, I have zero interest in this year's GP's. The lineup is same old same old, and weak, and the new scoring system is absolutely ridiculous. They have turned it into a clown show...2 points

There are 3 teams clearly better than the other four... With one of them clearly better than the other two.. The other four then get split into pairs... Oxford and Birmingham being the bottom pair.. From the moment all the teams were announced that was going to be the case as the vast amount of comments on here clearly showed, (and Bet365's odds!) Never quite understand how, each year, after a few weeks into the season, some fans call out how poor their team are when it was "blindingly obvious" before a wheel was turned how much adrift they were from the better teams... "We have gone for strength in depth, with each of our team capable of putting a point on their average".. Translated: "We wanted to sign a world level rider as we know it is the only way to be successful, but we couldn't get one"..2 points

Correct: He has the top average of 2,533 in three matches, compare that to Zmarzlik within four matches 2,500.1 point

Must admit it was a bit of an eye opener to me reading on here a Birmingham supporter saying crowds were up on last year, but still not hitting the 1000 mark! 😳 That just isn’t sustainable I’m afraid.1 point
