Thank goodness Howarth let Kemp win that one... or Kemp may have pulled up at the back đ8 points

And you're a fine example of somebody who loves to attend speedway meetings in person right? Shame you said the exact opposite three months ago....7 points

This is the most sat on the sofa with your arm elbow deep in a tube of Pringles clueless comment I have ever read on this forum. A rider should actively decide to crash on his own accord going 50mph minimum, and potentially causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to his equipment and injuring himself. Very good.6 points

Harris is a great rider and servant to British speedway. I was there with 40,000 other when Bomber won the 2007 Cardiff GP. What a ride! He has been great and rarely injured. He was talking about retiring several years ago. Glad he didnât. Needs a huge testimonial meeting when he does hang up his Kevlars.6 points

Great comeback from the Lions! There's going to be some sore Tigers fans when they return to their cars... everybody that has parked on the footpath has got a parking ticket đ5 points

Pathetic Sheffield fans booing Howarth âŚ. Was their captain when they won the league and Rowe just wiped him out Awful fan base4 points

Dangerous track again ⌠bike just sucked out wide on the one line again and no chance for Morris4 points

A chance to do the radical reset that should have taken place post Covid... Let's hope they have learned from the mistakes they made the last time they made "one big league", and every team gets to be competitive this time...4 points

That's weird. I'm sure I saw Sam Masters battling all the way to the line in Heat 1 and then re-overtake Lawson in Heat 15. Must be imagining that!4 points

I donât know about anyone else but I hate Sheffield with a passion. Cheating w**kers and their fans are thugs!3 points

Feels like the end of the season can't come soon enough across the board now. Two Premiership semi finals so far that have been as enjoyable as lying on the ground while someone stamp on your balls for two hours, and this one has been no better. If ever there was a clear sign that British Speedway is completely stale, then this is it. Never mind Harry Redknapp, it needs Harry Houdini to sort this out3 points

Fair play to anyone who pays money to watch a meeting at this place on a regular basis.3 points

Ha, not sure you were being intentionally funny. BSN has provided me the ability to watch meetings I would never have attended, different teams from across the UK and keep my interest in the sport up. Football is on TV all the time and stadiums are not empty. Fans will watch a game from a foreign league, because it's football and it creates talking points. As long as the hosting club is getting a share then it makes great sense to me. What should be on offer though is even more for those attending in person - the analysis, interviews, stats provision etc. otherwise it does sometimes feel like you're more involved if you're not there. You get pits views, reaction interviews, stats on performance etc. which the attendee does not, and they've paid more for it!3 points

Yeah, but to be fair, that doesn't clarify which league Oxford will be running in - simply that there won't be three teams. If Oxford were to drop out of the Championship, they wouldn't kill off the 'Cheetahs' name.3 points

Would take Morris back at Berwick on his average, owes the Club for giving him his chance to come back. That means nothing nowadays though,ÂŁÂŁÂŁ matters.3 points

Tatum shocking tonight Just called Howarth Douglas now2 points
-
He's got the points, it's just his attitude when at the back I'm not keen on, I think it's pretty selfish2 points
-
That shut Holder up đ did he show three fingers that time? Thatâs where he finished đ2 points
-
Kemp is such a quitter and I hate it, it's why he'll never develop further than he already is.2 points
-
Donât worry, there is two big champions league games on tonight so thereâs probably only us and about 3 others watching, and we know how consistently crap refs are anyway.2 points
-
The blokes a clown itâs a proper circus2 points
-
Love British Speedway, Have defended it alot in the past but tonight is nothing but a circus. The Referee is embarrassing the sport on live Television by getting the basics of Speedway wrong.2 points
-
But its fast lol And as the meeting goes on only one line near the fence Jack Holder couldnât get close to the Leicester boys shows how rubbish it is2 points
-
This ref is shocking. Jye touching the tapes to get the start stopped. Should be rerun2 points

This place is one of the reasons as to why British Speedway doesn't attract new fans. Gate and go tripe and the Heat winners are normally always in a different postcode to the other three riders in the race. If us die hard fans get bored of this place within 10 Minutes then imagine what first time attendees and viewers would think of the sport in general.2 points
-
And people say Ipswich track is bad this is just gate and go rubbish And that was one of the most ridiculous exclusions Iâve ever seen Flint just got scared wasnât even touched At least if Sheffield make the final all the neutrals will be with Ipswich2 points
-
Heat 7 looking like a switch over to watch some champions league Newcastle vs Barcelona⌠canât be worse than this. As an Ipswich fan I was excited to go to Leicester for an away match and then good home match. Deffo not going to Sheffield to watch this and be surrounded by thugs đ2 points

Ref bottle job because he had to exclude holder to start with so saw it as a chance to even it out IMO.2 points

Decision because of the home team, Leon laid that down.2 points

Yes a chance to make up for an opportunity missed but history has a habit of repeating itself and with the current crop of club owners/promoters it is difficult to believe that could learn from the past or make bold decisions to take the sport forward given that the current business model does not work. It is doubtful but I guess all on the forum would be happy to be proved wrong and a new dynamic is introduced in 2026.2 points

Why do they have to bring something new Yes Iâd have Emil and Laguta but it wonât happen So ruling them out who would you have ? I want the best 15 riders not just new riders for the sake of it Who? Who is better than Doyle , Fricke and Michelsen and Vaculik apart from Dudek Someone new will get in if they are good enough ⌠I think you forget that Kurtz qualified he didnât have a wild card Woryna is new this year because he deserved it and qualified Look at the riders who didnât qualify through the challenge Cierniak, Wolbert , Gusts and Pollestad are the only riders who have never ridden a GP seasonâŚ.. you want one of those over a Doyle or Vaculik âŚ. Seriously??2 points
-
I think he means BSPA or it could be BSN. whatever/whichever Speedway Futures Ltd is a business in which BSPA has significant shareholding alongside ten other vested shareholders. BSN is 100% independent of BSPA and is the trading name of Exstream Media Ltd who have two shareholders neither of who have shareholding in Speedway Futures Ltd. As such JH was well wide of the mark with his comment/observation.2 points

Masters looked like he was trying to me. If Lawson wasnât there he would probably have gone through the card. His fall was caused by the pressure from Lawson where his front wheel went on the curb and shot him off across the end of the second bend. Masters and Lawson are clearly the two top riders of the Championship.2 points
-
Well... you don't exclude GP riders for no reason, you set a realistic points limit that makes it affordable for all. That's the theory anyway.2 points
-
Cant believe anyone would moan about Harris, always puts in max effort when it matters, his scores dont always reflect it but you cannot fault his attitude. When he retires it will be a sad day for all of us, nobody puts bums on seats more than Bomber.2 points
-
Glad Oxford are putting there club first. This and the sad departure of Birmingham closing has forced the BSPAs hand. One major League is a gamble but it's a necessary change, because what we have now isn't working. I hope something is sorted that benefits all supporters and the clubs financial futures..2 points
