There’s a time and a place. I’m not sure the potential demise of Oxford is the thread to be having ‘lots of fun’ on. It’s in pretty bad taste if you ask me.8 points

The racing in the UK isn't what holds it back... It's the operating model, business plan, and leadership of the sport that renders it almost irrelevant...3 points

That PA system at Wroclaw, and also those around Poland, are certainly not fit for purpose... You can hear every word, and clearly...3 points

Fantastic atmosphere in Wrocław as usual from a huge crowd3 points

Nah you’re welcome to him, easy to look good when your opposition is that bad.3 points

By previous comments I think the Workington supporters are happy he isn’t riding for them.3 points

All over some people prefer different view points, but most gather in the raised standing area at the back, between the start gate and 1st bend enjoy your trip over UTC 😀🔵⚪🏁3 points

It's funny how somebody who doesn't seem to have any malice to anybody and likes a bit of a laugh has their own topic thread denouncing them ... yet some of the more vile posters who seem to be able to post nothing other than abuse and it passes without comment... a sign of the toxic times we live in I suppose 🤷♂️3 points

First of all I hope Vinnie isn't too beat up after lifting off the 4th bend and ploughing into the fence ( No tattie puns please 😉). Following a first ride where he struggled with the track he was much more competetive. Shame after superbly getting into a 5-1 behind Cookie and looking comfortable he lifted and couldn't get it down in time. This was always going to be a tough task but we were left rueing points thrown away when in good race positions. Niklas looks a real racer and I look forward to see him develop as he settles in to British racing. Signs are that consistency will be pivotal to our chances of competing at the sharp end. Well done the Bears who all chipped in. The 10 last places undid the Comets but there were some promising signs. UTC2 points

A game of two halfs , to use an analogy…. First half is the reason the sport is dying, track issues due to incompetent track preparation and having to be told how to fix it by the previous track curator who left the role because of the owners ! Took an hour on a freezing evening to sort it without a-decent explanation to the crowd. We were viewing on the back straight, normally great viewing point, but dust was just too much after two races so had to move to the home straight instead. After the tractor racing fiasco the second half of the meeting was much better with the close score and Comets getting in the groove and could have won the meeting if not for Vinnies loop when on a 5-1. Cook back to his best, Jeppesen very good. Bears relied on Klindt and Allen saving the day with the rest inconsistent but did enough to win the meeting but probably not the bonus point. overhall the diehards would have enjoyed it but went home feeling the cold and needing a hot shower whilst any newbies wont be coming back anytime soon. Redcar need better more consistent track preparation. P.S. Parked on the public road this time, much safer for the car.2 points

Good showing from the Comets in the end, on other day we may have won but we will be very competitive on the road this season for sure. Hope Vinnie is okay, plenty of positives there.2 points

Hopefully Lawson is alright, safely through to the next round of our cup. Cooper impressive again, Newman battled. Fraser just needs to be a bit smoother, I don’t know if it’s nerves or just his style but he’s a great gater and often looks fast. Look forward to us facing a Oxford or a Glasgow2 points

And Brady would push Dan towards an air fence if he thought it would win him a GP... Dan, maybe this year, has learnt that, and would do the same...2 points

The UK, once, "ruled the roost"... And, in the past 25 years, have had tens of millions of pounds given to it.... Poland have, quite rightly, looked at how this country ran its version of the sport, and, quite correctly, said "We won't do that".. Hence, we are where we are...2 points

The new Dan.... Hugging the white line to ensure the race is won.... Brilliant to watch, this lad...2 points

Given its exactly the same sport I do feel comparisons are fair... They are really good at running their version of it.... We are really poor at running our version of it...2 points

Worrying result for Ipswich against what is basically currently a four man Lynn team, should be looking to get 55+2 points

https://www.mayfield-ms.com/about She is indeed. Seems Chris Louis has walked away from the sport completely then which is sad. Olly Allen is a decent co commentator don’t get me wrong, but Louis was better IMO and seemed to be the regular along with Tatum.2 points

This track is a disgrace. How vinnie got up from that and walked away I’ll never know.1 point

Worst team I can remember in this league. Certain relegation and I'd imagine no points.1 point

One thing is for sure, Lynn need to collectively get out of the gate all lot better than they did last night. I think ten will be a little too much to claw back this early in the season, so I think it'll be a small Lynn victory.1 point

If i lived nearby i'd be there if they're paying £25 especially if they throw in free parking. Presume it'll be in cash?1 point

Track was awful tonight Our track has never produced great racing but to prepare it the way the did was appalling … we was covered in dust on bend 2 from about heat 3 and couldn’t see some races properly Great to get the win and to see certain riders go well ….imagine the uproar if King only scored 3 yet Scott gets away with it lol Edwards was on fire and just needed to get Tom going …. PHB had bags of potential Fricke is just a class act and Harris provided entertainment but the reserves as talented as they are will struggle against seasoned campaigners The other gripe was the presentation …. Kevin Long was probably the best presenter in the whole league for a long time so whoever replaced him would have huge shoes to fill …. But the guy on the mic was awful …. bland and monotone … generated zero interaction with the fans …no ‘give us a w’…. mispronouncing riders names…. I know we have lost 2 entertaining riders in Doyle and Emil but this guy on the mic seriously needs to be changed1 point

A real shame for him personally, but it maybe makes it less predictable about who becomes champion. Always feel like Haaruhiltinen can step up a gear when required, more even amongst Koivula and Svensson. Bauer obviously not far off, but never seen any fight from the boy.1 point

Definitely not. I think it’ll be close; my heart says us, but my head says them. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a Dan Thompson masterclass. I think both sides look strong, so hopefully we’ll see some good racing.1 point

Drive in and sit in your car between races... You could sit on the bonnet and stay warm during the race too, before getting back into a heated car....... Buxton is "rustic" and delivers what it does... Great to have it back....1 point

Seen a story online that Pila have pulled out of a deal for Josh Pickering as his demands were a bit much. Wanting just over £80k signing on fee and just over £800 a point. Crazy demands for a guy who finished 34th in the averages last year.1 point
