Also you know you'll always get 100% from Doyle, not so sure about NKI and a few others mentioned.

He was one of the best few riders I've ever seen, and definitely the fastest at Arlington, and his races with Nicki still stick in the memory ( faster rider vs a better racer)but I think last season shows age catches up with everyone and personally I'd rather remember him in his prime and hopefully he'll make a great manager.

I said it last week the only way is to ignore the trolls, lasted for about an hour, it will be the only way it'll go away or it will just keep going on all season. That would be the ideal scenario I imagine, especially if Flint does improve as expected but can remain there, more points, more confidence, more points money.

There is quite a bit of truth in this, Eastbourne between 1995 and 2010 always seemed to go with a few 'fiery' riders in their teams. Different times, but always went to expect the unexpected , and was so much fun with opposing riders and fans, especially local(ish) derbies. Mind you did have the likes of Dugard ,Pedersen, Crump, Loram Hancock etc riding here at the time, so that may have helped. My children started in this era, and it was always the edge of it, riding to the limit and the handbags etc that was the most exciting bit.

Indeed if they'd have come 6th they'd have still won the playoffs.

Can't believe how this so called banter goes on and on. I know 99% of fan's gloat when they win, and moan about something when they lose, so suppose one way or another over the last 10 year's or so Poole had more to gloat about that anyone, same as all sports really, imagine the likes of Liverpool and Man City have done a lot of gloating over the last 10 years or so. But do any and I mean any real speedway fans want to see the demise of any club? Just seems to me to be a throw over from the social media age, just chuck nasty rubbish out and see what happens, not for me, but some get a thrill I suppose.

Just have to make the most of this season is really what I was thinking of, try and forget about the possibility of what could happen next year, easier said than done though.

Think for a new promotion it's a cracking well balanced team. If my team Eastbourne come up with a team like this in 2023 I'd be pretty happy/positive. Just hope they get the support it deserves.

It was an extra £9 billion over and above I think which I'm not saying wasn't justified. Maybe need a better person than Sturgeon to administer it. But I'm not Scottish so up to yourselves really. I'm not anti Scottish and like everyone I've come into contact with, but think you have a self centred idiot in charge like we have.
