Kings Lynn 2023
cowboy cookie returns? replied to therefused's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe the BSPA are in on this “great reset” idea? Every country will install speedway as its national sport……in a few years Belle Vue will be riding in front of sellout crowds at old Trafford following a stadium swap with Manchester United due to the lack of interest in football. -
SCB's excuse for Artem Laguta

I don’t believe any of it to be honest. I don’t think he was ever going to be at Wolves last night. -

He did mention this in his interview at the go last weekend with Scotty. it’s great news for speedway if it happens….I wonder where he will end up? my only concern is what sort of premiership will there be next year -
SCB's excuse for Artem Laguta
cowboy cookie returns? replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The issue here is that it was well documented last week on here, social media etc that Laguta would be missing from the Lynn line up on Monday. now 24 hours after the event a statement is released which isn’t believable stating that a doctors certificate was produced yesterday. let’s face Laguta was never going to appear at wolves that had been know for a week & the scb was issued this today after being made to look silly with all the where is Artem tweets on live tv last night….. -
Wolves vs Kings Lynn

Laguta is about as injured as the pit gate was broken earlier in the season. Buster is certainly getting his moneys worth from the ladybird book of bullrubbish this season -

The big balls up was putting King anywhere near this team, far to hit & miss last season & has proved so agin this -

Kings Lynn 2023

The demise started long before Sky came on board. The top flight has been in trouble since the mid/late 80s. Sky was the golden egg that should have sparked a new dawn but was completely mis managed by the powers that be. The demise has accelerated over the last 20 years but can be traced way back to the 80s -

I’m really worried that Louis has now wasted the golden chance that having Doyle & Emil in the same team provided. signing a weak R/S because of a pre season injury to your first choice is one thing but making the same mistake twice is madness, While also agreeing to allow the strong option that is your asset to sign for one of your rivals. -

Looked good this evening, Danyan rode well number 2 & Rew looked competitive….he’ll be a good asset. Doyle solid as always & Emil is just pure class. Great to see Danny back to form. Get Riss back in that team along with the rumoured r/s switch looking good again -

No Issue with Riss coming in when fit but they need to get Kemp on board after last night would be massive. that would give you a chance of getting a heat advantage in heat 2 at home at least & Kemp chipping in with even a 2,3,4 points would take the pressure of Hume. Let’s be honest I can’t see king going anywhere but they need to give the captains armband to Doyle. From what I’ve seen & heard kings attitude isn’t captain material. What a shame that we are on the verge of wasting the blockbuster signing of Emil. I have a hunch & I hope I’m wrong but having Emil could be one season wonder giving the issues surrounding Peterborough & Wolves for 2024 -

We’ll Kemp has scored more in one heat than Thompson has all season. at 13-5 down changes needed -

None of Andersen,Cook,Heeps or Starke is inspiring. I’d rather keep Riss or Barker -
King’s Lynn v Sheffield 01/06/23
cowboy cookie returns? replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Laguta will improve not an ex world champion for no reason. That said we know who is the most naturally gifted rider Emil by a mile becoming a track record holder at a track he had never seen before in his first ride -
Ipswich v Wolves June 1st
cowboy cookie returns? replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The biggest frustration is King. At home with the amount of laps that he has done around Foxhall in all different conditions he should be scoring double figures week in week out. Bank holiday Monday v Lynn he threw his toys out of the pram when easily passed by Lynn riders. Last week v Leicester he seemed at times to be on the wrong lines & by the sounds of it was again last night. I don’t think he should go at the moment as the rising star & what happens with Riss long term should be more of a priority but I would make Doyle captain.
