  1. Ironic then that some of the best for giving up when at the back have been poles!
  2. The demise started long before Sky came on board. The top flight has been in trouble since the mid/late 80s. Sky was the golden egg that should have sparked a new dawn but was completely mis managed by the powers that be. The demise has accelerated over the last 20 years but can be traced way back to the 80s
  3. I’m really worried that Louis has now wasted the golden chance that having Doyle & Emil in the same team provided. signing a weak R/S because of a pre season injury to your first choice is one thing but making the same mistake twice is madness, While also agreeing to allow the strong option that is your asset to sign for one of your rivals.
  4. Looked good this evening, Danyan rode well number 2 & Rew looked competitive….he’ll be a good asset. Doyle solid as always & Emil is just pure class. Great to see Danny back to form. Get Riss back in that team along with the rumoured r/s switch looking good again
  5. I’m sure this was the sort of c**p that Phil Morris was supposed to sort out
  6. No Issue with Riss coming in when fit but they need to get Kemp on board after last night would be massive. that would give you a chance of getting a heat advantage in heat 2 at home at least & Kemp chipping in with even a 2,3,4 points would take the pressure of Hume. Let’s be honest I can’t see king going anywhere but they need to give the captains armband to Doyle. From what I’ve seen & heard kings attitude isn’t captain material. What a shame that we are on the verge of wasting the blockbuster signing of Emil. I have a hunch & I hope I’m wrong but having Emil could be one season wonder giving the issues surrounding Peterborough & Wolves for 2024
  7. We’ll Kemp has scored more in one heat than Thompson has all season. at 13-5 down changes needed
  8. I thought buster had already confirmed that he isn’t involved financially at either Lynn or Peterborough this year?
  9. What’s the worry King is planning on chasing Emil & Doyle for the number 1 race jacket
  10. None of Andersen,Cook,Heeps or Starke is inspiring. I’d rather keep Riss or Barker
  11. Laguta will improve not an ex world champion for no reason. That said we know who is the most naturally gifted rider Emil by a mile becoming a track record holder at a track he had never seen before in his first ride
  12. The biggest frustration is King. At home with the amount of laps that he has done around Foxhall in all different conditions he should be scoring double figures week in week out. Bank holiday Monday v Lynn he threw his toys out of the pram when easily passed by Lynn riders. Last week v Leicester he seemed at times to be on the wrong lines & by the sounds of it was again last night. I don’t think he should go at the moment as the rising star & what happens with Riss long term should be more of a priority but I would make Doyle captain.
  13. If I was the manager I’d take the captaincy of King to take the pressure off so he can concentrate on his riding…..skipper Doyle?
  14. Hate to say it as the young lad is trying but we desperately need more from the number 7 berth. I wasn’t present tonight but by the sound of it king was on the wrong lines again? His home form should be much better probably the only guy who has done more laps around Foxhall is his boss Mr Louis
  15. only a complete fool would sign KK. Rides like a heat leader at Lynn everywhere else looks like a wobbler
  16. He thought Emil was going to Peterborough at one point & was over the moon!
  17. One rider we should have signed back in the day was Bobby Ott
  18. The sort of response that came from your management over the weekend isn’t new. If you don’t like it don’t come or that sort of response has been given plenty of times by promoters, unfortunately plenty of people have heeded that advice over the years. the promoters want to sell the sport as a proper team sport that people get passionate about. This brings an emotional buy in by those supporters who can take it seriously. However when a club is struggling the promotion don’t like criticism from those very supporters who they need to have an emotional buy in to make it a team sport. They are then expected to put up & shut up while enjoying the racing.
  19. Maybe but not as appalling as your Peterborough team, you guest tonight has more race wins than your entire team have managed all season!
  20. Why did the team manager select someone he knew couldn’t ride….?
