I hope it is Simon Lambert he is allowed one off season, he is much better than he showed last season.
-
I would have Danny King, he has Ipswich in his blood, Iversen definitely not.
-
Could be strength in depth like Leicester.
-
I would think they have contacted a possible replacement and have a plan in place.
-
Not quickly enough if you are a team manager, Glasgow picked Hodder who in their view has more potential, Oxford picked Wood and Ritchings who had points to play with so could easily have picked Perry, most teams could have had him, maybe get a team place later in the year for someone.
-
A team manager would want whoever is likely to score the most points and that isn't Max Perry, he improved his average by a little last season but you would not call him up and coming, if Workington were able to fit him in then Etherington would not have a team place, would Perry beat Etherington on a regular basis, not sure he would.
-
Not for Glasgow, they had no problem letting him go. Most teams could have signed him but didn't.
-
Plenty of other teams could have signed him but no takers so that tells you nobody thinks he is good enough. If he was on the way up he would be signed by now.
-
He would score more points than Perry though.
-
Absolutely, I remember Poole being criticized for letting him go yet most championship teams could have fitted him in, rode pretty well at times for Glasgow but they let him go, could easily have fitted in at Oxford for either of their reserves so I dont see why Scunthorpe would even consider him with the points available, they will be bottom without Perry in the team.
-
What when they have over 4 points to play with. That would be crazy.
-
On a low average for his ability and he was riding better later in the season. He is Mr Scunthorpe and would be a good signing plus they will have options when Picko's average drops.
-
He will be at Scunthorpe too.
-
Has Simon lambert been announced yet?
-
It may be a big mistake not getting Jacob back, rode very well last season.

Strange that Max Fricke will now be at Kings Lynn which is run by someone not known for running his business at a loss. He obviously feels Max will put enough people on the gate to make it viable. -

You seem to be forgetting Cairns rode for Poole last season and achieved a 3.81 average, not bad for your first season, I can only see it going up, Rushen will get plenty of points at Poole, it is possible to pass at Poole!! -

Disagree too weak at reserve, Poole have much stronger reserves. Both reserves are riding Premiership that is where they will be under pressure, a lot of championship reserves are weaker than Poole's. -
Really oh dear.
-
Not really a must win as they still qualify for the play offs and even winning didn't guarantee a top 8 finish.
-
That was my point regarding cup games or less meaningful matches.
-
Dont the home fans sing you have only come to see City? It is certainly the case that tickets for matches at more readily available for smaller games so the opposition is a big factor especially when it comes to cup competitions where the tickets are not included in the cost of a season ticket. I would also suggest that my team Poole would generate a bigger crowd than normal if it was one league.
