  1. Said by the same 'Poole' fans every season. Hence why we have laughed so hard the last few seasons.
  2. I've read equally as many blaming Bjerre so depends which way you look at it. 50/50 is easily it's best description. I certainly see it as one that could have gone either way.
  3. Never seen that one. Any current Championship rider could qualify (technically) for the GP Series and continue racing in that league. Craig Cook is the perfect example. He himself choose not to race in the Championship this season but because he has a valid average could have remained in that league this year if he wanted too. Carl Stonehewer also was a 2nd tier rider who also rode in the GP's. As is usual with the governing body the rules are written in such a way that some riders can ride in one league whilst others British riders with a much lower top flight average can't.
  4. Not sure that either rider would even be wanted by any team to ride as a number one. The other problem is the lack of enough quality riders to fill both leagues team positions.
  5. It's easily sortable. If you are BRITISH then you are eligible. Irrespective of average. Keep the 6 top flight minimum to drop down to any NON Brits. Sorted.
  6. New poster talking about Gavan loving Poole shock horror. Another multi alias.
  7. His average seems to be in freefall. No doubt he should improve his starting average but he has had 2 very poor seasons in the UK, certainly poor judging by him being in the GP's.
  8. That's your opinion, you don't speak for the forum. Stalker alert. Seems you are indeed obsessed.
  9. He will thrive in the well prepared conditions once he gets the hang of its tightness.
  10. Take your blinkers off and read others who have said the same. How can anyone begrudge a rider a made up average?
  11. Sadly the BSPA makes these errors alarmingly too often. The buck falls with them for sure as they are the ones making (and changing) the rules to suit. Rye will equally get some criticism from fans of other clubs who find signing riders on false averages as abhorrent. No one likes a team with 'ringers' in. Unless it's the home fans I guess.
  12. Having watched him regular over the last 3 seasons I would have said he was never go to make it out of the NL standard level. Glad to be proved wrong and yes I agree. He needs a Championship team however to boost his chances and confidence.
  13. CVS was correct also. I'd believe his viewpoint more than on a TV platform made by Tai himself. If he was coming back it would have been a completely different TV viewpoint you can be sure of that. Tai knows how to work the media. Ask yourself, why would CVS lie about saying Tai was considering racing here in 2018???
  14. CVS indeed confirmed that Piotr was also interested in racing in the UK in 2018 and asked for his name to be circulated if Wolves couldn't fit him in. If he is part of Poole's back up plans it's because CVS has given permission. Best try not to make up a view point when it's been confirmed by someone who owns his contract. If you are happy to call CVS and myself a liar regards Woffy then that's your perogative. I guess it would make you wrong however.
  15. The final average issued is a false one. Since when do 2 home and 2 away matches count?? Unless it's another made up rule 'in the best interest of speedway'.
  16. I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just saying what CVS said in November. It's pretty simple really. Are you calling CVS a liar?? He would have no valid reason to lie about Tai saying he would be interested in fixed night racing and had made contact. And yes, I asked the question if Tai had been spoken to about the 2018 season. It would have been low priority for him I'm sure and that's probably why he hasn't made a fuss about it. However feel free to make up your own assumptions, which obviously don't add up.
  17. His average was 4.23 when he got sacked by Wolves. He had ridden 4 meetings. Which wasn't enough for a new average. No idea where this 2.00 has been plucked from but it's clearly a wrong average. Either way he already has a Premiership average from 2017.
  18. Matters not. He was interested in coming back for fixed night racing. No idea about order. However it's clear he was considering it.
  19. CVS confirmed it at the talk in end of last season. But then the BSPA completely messed up the rules by stopping a British rider from riding here by saddling him with an average that made it impossible to fit him in yet allow some foreign riders to keep a completely outdated average. The same people of course stopping 2 British riders from riding in both leagues. Beyond bonkers.
  20. Woffy was open to a return this season until an unfair assessed new average prevented that happening. Yet again done over by the governing body.
  21. Who was asking for sympathy?? Just pointing out facts.
