Still doesn't make sense as Poole haven't won for 2 seasons.
-
They must have failed miserably this year then.

builders will do what suits them even if they are offered more money. If you have a contract with a builder you will surely expect them to prioritise your work no less than any other. I'm sure some builders do take a job on with more money offered but they wouldn't need to take any further work which is much different to the life of a speedway rider who signs a contract for 8-9 months in different countries. Personally I couldn't care less who pays more money. Sign a contract, and honour it. And it's still wrong IMHO.

he did this year. I don't know of any other line of work where you can be equally employed by different people. Who decides who is the 'main' employer??
-
Exactly. Plus Monday nights have been no issue for SKY/BT and more importantly Wolves and the Aces (until they moved) and teams wanting to be on TV. Monday seems one of the better days for set racing.
-
Iversen is saying he is open to coming back to the UK next season and Vaculik has already signed for Leicester. Both ride in Poland, Sweden and own country. It would appear the Poles have been told to do one and rightly so.
-
Makes no difference. He signed as a Wolves asset before he rode for anyone. That was good of Poole to give him extra experience that helped him, and our cause.

On what basis? Polish and Swedish averages? In Poland Martin 11th on 2.036, Andrey 38th on 1.523 https://speedwayekstraliga.pl/statystyki/lista-klasyfikacyjna/lista-klasyfikacyjna-2017/ In Sweden Martin 17th 1.729, Andrey 21st 1.714 http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2017/Rankinglista/ so not sure what logic you are using but it seems misguided at best.

I agree. The lesson learned should be to look at more solidity throughout the side with a strong number 6 who can float between top 5 and reserve. Securing a strong number 1 (Fred, Tai, Piotr) is still essential. Hopefully Nicki P isn't under consideration. One of the first questions I will be asking at the upcoming talk in later this month.
-
Tai will do what he wants, he has already said and done that. He is happy to ride for Wolves if he can and we need him. And seeing as he hasn't ridden for another top flight since he signed for us as a 16 year old is all the evidence that is needed.

Think the single quoted line just about sums up all we need to know.

More nonsense from Brandon Bob/Gater1 et Al. The gift that keeps giving. Usually all wrong news.
-
top class Steve0. It's the multi aliased one who is always wrong. Brandon Bob.
-
Thanks for confirming that it's NOT official.
-
I'd imagine it's Poole or Belle Vue for Martin.
-
Or he is having a opinion. Which we are all entitled too.
-
Hopefully you are feeling better now tho.

I don't have a thing about it at all. Wolves riders , and club, seem to show loyalty instead of moving clubs or riding here for one season. Piotr had a full season with Wolves and loved it and so did the fans. If he suited him he would ride anywhere. However if he wanted to come back to the UK I bet he would be more than happy to come back to his parent club. Poole fans like Lisa seem to think every rider wants to ride for Poole, which isn't true quite clearly.
-
Judging by his performances this season I'd be surprised if anyone signs him. Dreadful, but he has been for quite a while now.
-
I'm hoping averages used are closer to the actual ones they have finished on. Can't see why any rider like Piotr, Woffy, Lindback, Nicki P etc aren't given a minimum of 8 average to return on as 7 is ridiculously low.
-
Poole have more riders that don't want to ride here than anyone else.
-
Exactly. To think some would call some British tracks horror tracks! There has been nowhere near the level of serious crashes as in Poland.
-
If Piotr is seriously considering coming back to the UK, and on his 2014 average I'd imagine his patent club would be most interested and he would love to be back with the fans who showed him much love during that time.
