  1. I know some rider's and fan's laughed at it but 2nd start line I thought was a great inclusion. With the tires on that line it was so much easier for the start marshall to line rider's up and for the referee to spot the rider rolling forward or back. I don't get why this has been removed this year.
  2. He is for real and correct. Anywhere in Scotland or deep south of England is remote. Hopefully in 2019 there will be 3-4 of these international fixtures. Glasgow, Belle Vue, Peterborough and Somerset should be the venues.
  3. I think the centre green rule is just for riding the bike. I believe all rider's can get off and push their bikes across. Just for entertainment reasons I'd change the 2mins slightly. 20 meters of the start area is off limits for the 1st minute. 2mins on, so adjustments can be made to the bike, then the last minute is where the start area is opened up to the rider's. To much time is given to kick dirt imo.
  4. You can be on any licence and still represent your country. Josh being on a Polish licence allows him to ride where he likes around Europe without the requirements of a work permit.
  5. 1. H.Andersen 8.04 2. R.Wells 6.90 3. L.Sundstrom 6.13 4. P.Starke 5.08 5. S.Nicholls 7.22 6. J.Auty 4.59 7. J.Etheridge 4.15 Total 42.11
  6. I think he's making reference to Poole's team average which is actually only 42.26
  7. Barker has already participated in the Premiership this season so would come in on that average which is 6.00
  8. Auty's had 3 meetings with Leicester 2.80 average so far.
  9. I agree that fixtures should (and hopefully will be in 2019) pre planned but VRX only took over in April as the Speedway Great Britain franchise. So finding gaps in the British Speedway schedule is extremely difficult. Especially with most rider's doubling up between the Premiership and Championship. Getting this 1st test match off the ground will be to see if these matches grab the attention of the paying public, especially with the inclusion of the top rider's in the World. Yes it is short notice but absolutely vital for all parties and more so, Speedway Great Britain.
  10. Correct, the BSPA are totally irrelevant to the international fixtures. This fixture has come together from the new owners of Speedway Great Britain, VRX Motorsport (Rob Painter & Vicky Blackwell). The owners and team manager have accepted Robert Lambert's request due to his racing schedule but have made it clear to ALL British rider's that this will be a one off. Unless injured or an exceptional reason, all rider's are to be available for international fixtures. If any rider's fail to accept an international selection a request to the FIM could be made to impose a worldwide suspension.
  11. Exactly, so why recall Andersen now?? There's no time left in the season to get race fit and improve himself and the team. It's just not logical to bring him back. Maybe Simon ain't the right man but I feel for the team @No7 it should be anyone but Andersen. A backward step this late in the season.
  12. It didn't add anything. Once done a few times it's very very boring. Nothing beats all the bikes on the track at the same time during parade. How about having the both teams reserves start from the tapes. 5 meters back are the No2 & 4's. Another 5 meters back are the No'3 and 5's. 2 meters behind them are the No'1. That'll be entertainment
  13. Exactly, Robert was even team riding when with the Young Stars, always plays his part for the team and that's why he's club captain. I don't think Pearson can't go a single league meeting on BT without mentioning Woffinden.
  14. Even if Robert goes through the card and scores 18, can't see the Stars getting within 20 points of the Pirates.
  15. Don't disagree but what we have with Andersen is exactly the same we had with Porsing, barely improves through the season but we continue with, just Andersen is a lot less of a "Big Time Charlie". To make the Play-Offs / win the league we need to make home wins far more convincing. Andersen's coming back from injury also so I just don't see the logic in bringing him back in.
  16. That's the thing that's drove me bonkers, the AFA can be and should be a special place to watch Speedway. Unfortunately the place has gone delusional, people just don't see no wrong. Anyone to call last night a good meeting clearly doesn't understand what Speedway's all about. I dare some to fill in their programme one week after the first 2 corners and see if much changes. It is a fact that the racing is very boring 90% of the time, we have an owner and a track curator who's delusional over what is being delivered to the public as entertainment. I think the racing now at the AFA is that bad, I'd be more entertained watching Speedway at Lakeside.
  17. All that's required is a solid reserve. Has to be Erik Riss for Garrity.
  18. To be fair to Fricke, he scored as many as Doyle usually does around the AFA. More often than not Doyle always has a visit to the safety fence, certainly not one of his favourite tracks to visit.
  19. So, like the Poole meeting another last heat decider but a totally $#!+€ meeting. Something has to be done about the track at King's Lynn. FTG race track these days
  20. I truly feel for Stars fans that passed over £46 over the last week, 1 good meeting out of 3. The AFA has no value for money.
