Absolutely, was incredibly frustrated at the time as just as we are about to have seven fit riders again Jan got wiped out. But it was a racing incident on a dodgy part of the track in a GP, just one of those things.

Doesn't look like it the way he walked back after his LCQ. Bloody track and bloody Doyle.

I'm sure it was always said that the two tracks were run completely independently with their own budgets based on crowd levels. -

Drabik has been excellent. Does he wear the shades due to an eye issue? -

I really don't know what people expect from Niels, he is 42 and arguably riding at a position on the team he shouldn't be. Like everyone else he's a six pointer for a reason. As for team changes, I'd agree we may need to be ruthless at some point, and despite what Mr Grumpy from P'boro has piped up with I think Lambert would be asked if he fitted and wanted to come. -

I'm sure Jody will be a bit disappointed with a single point but it must be noted that after the reserves race his opponents were Palovaara, Thomson, Castagna and Sedgemen. Understandably Killeen got the easier rides so perhaps it's not surpring that he didn't score after heat 2. -

All this rammel that Blobby is spouting is incredibly rich seeing as for years other teams have ended up at Armadale with key riders missing due to weekend commitments and Mr Campbell was always heavily involved in the fixture planning. -
Maybe that was always the plan.....

No extraliga fixtures yesterday. Another really enjoyable night of speedway at the Norfolk Arena and a very comfortable Lynn victory in the end although it looked anything but after heat 8. A good atmosphere, some decent racing and above all else a young, local lad making a big impression on his home senior debut, take a bow Jody Scott. Kvech was excellent as was Lawson after heat 1. Bomber was Bomber and the others chipped in. Ipswich massively missing Thompson and best wishes to Doyle after his withdrawal. Ben Cook back next Monday according to Rob Lyon after the meeting.

Was all over and done with in an hour and 35 minutes once they got going. Any quicker than that and I'd feel short changed personally. -
And both riders are on record saying it was pilot error and not track related. Makes little difference anyway, Poland do what they like and don't care about other speedway nations.
-
Lynn is probably the most physically demanding track that we have in the UK due to the surface. Just to add this is where Phil Morris needs to be getting involved if he's not already, to mediate and try to come to a solution.
-
It's not a difficult equation to work out though.....Poland have paid for all of his treatment and rehab, pay riders thousands more than they earn here and the tracks are far easier to ride. Did Emil ride for Torun but not Ippo at the end of last season? The crunch is obviously next Monday, Belle Vue away would be the meeting he'd return for if he's going to. Lynn don't ride at home for three weeks and I suspect that's the issue with tonight. You would like to think that with the relationship Ben has with Rob Lyon and his previous commitment to Britian that he will ride next week and be strong enough to stand up to Leszno if they pressure him not to.
-
For clarity they had booked Kildemand weeks ago before Cook had even had a practice to see how his wrist was. But agree with the rest. He obviously wants to ride in Poland but not the UK at the moment and it's a good question why he had five rides today. He will clearly get banned if he rides in Poland again and then miss the next Lynn fixture after that (BV away on Monday 23rd). Lynn aren't at home for three weeks after tomorrow, I'm guessing he and Leszno don't want him to ride on the grippy Lynn track until then at the earliest. Bottom line though is if he has a doctors note after today then there's not a lot anyone can do. I really hope we see him again and it's not another Museilak situation as Ben comes across as a genuine and honest fella.
-
I seem to remember last year that we had a facility for Museilak for the first 28 days and after that it was a 75% facility. Essentially the club gets a month's grace if a rider witholds their services and after that they need to replace them or they only get a 75% guest.
-
I'd agree that bans have to be handed out if riders appear in one league and not others but I'd also say that there is an enormous difference between riding at Lezno and Lynn if you have an injury.

We were able to interview Ben for the podcast this week, you can listen on the link below. I can see him getting a 28 day ban going forward if he rides on Sunday.
