  1. Good lad, there are signs he may have what it takes emulate Lambert & Bewley.
  2. Just seen Brennan scored 13 from 5 at Dagauvpils for Rawicz, good lad.
  3. Well he's been with us longer and my Dad's bigger than your Dad so nur nur nur nur nur nurrr.
  4. Agree with this.....might be in Scunthorpe's interests to set something up starting with the folk who turned up last night so as not to lose some valuable customers.
  5. Other than at Lewi Kerr's testimonial I can't recall a Lawson pass to be fair but he overtakes far more than folk give him credit for, just like Kenny Bjerre did/does, they just have this gating tart reputation because they do most of their point scoring by making good starts. But you don't achieve good averages without being able to get past people when required!
  6. I don't take much notice of Poland below the Extraliga, who is Brennan contracted to and has he ridden much? Noticed he and Kemp don't do the U24 league for whatever reason.
  7. But at least they'd be your own riders and not borrowed from another team. It's daft that a rider could score points as a guest which rules his own club out of Play Offs for example!
  8. Any meeting on a European track particularly representing GB is important IMO. This is one of the season's plum fixtures though so why schedule it this weekend when two of our best youngsters were bound to be away?
  9. You gotta let the Craig Cook thing go Lisa! Really annoying that Kemp and Brennan are missing, boooo to the fixture compiler.
  10. Great win for Wolves especially with no reserves but glad we've got Sheffield in the final.
  11. You are quite right, would rather be winning by 10 than 20 but I feel after the start we've made this team has a decent chance of honours this year, to that end the two riders mentioned have had a bad week and need to do better, I'm sure they will. The beauty of the way the team is built is that somebody will usually step up if others are struggling.
  12. The Prem may only have six clubs but it's far less predictable than the Champs which has massive gulf between sides and is only competitive in some cases due to dodgy guests.
  13. I really dislike guests but just like penalty shoot outs there isn't a workable alternative unfortunately.
  14. Great result but Kerr and Worrall need to be much, much better than that.
  15. From Lynn website: STARS V BELLE VUE, PREVIEW Wednesday May 18, 2022 KING’S Lynn finally get their home Premiership campaign up and running when they host Belle Vue at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday (7.30pm). The Minors & Brady Stars have been inactive on their home circuit since April 25 after the postponement of the recent home match with Wolverhampton due to stadium lighting issues. But they have got off the mark in the league since then with a battling effort at Belle Vue on Monday, where they came back from 12 points down to salvage a league point. Danish star Niels-Kristian Iversen was instrumental in that result with a 14-point haul, and skipper Josh Pickering provided a stunning overtake of Warsaw GP winner Max Fricke in Heat 13. Boss Alex Brady names an unchanged side for the return fixture, with the Aces arriving in Norfolk on top of the table after three wins in four so far. But the visitors are still without injured duo Matej Zagar and Jye Etheridge, with former Stars man Michael Palm Toft again stepping in as guest for Zagar, and rider replacement is in operation for Etheridge. King’s Lynn co-promoter Dale Allitt said: “It’s been a bit of a break because of the last home meeting being postponed, and as a team we now want to get points on the board. “It was a good result on Monday at Belle Vue but we do need to finish the job at home. “I know Alex will be looking for a home win, and four points from the two meetings would be good – but equally Lemo (Mark Lemon) will want to come and take four points himself. “I think the league as a whole is going to be quite tight. We’ve seen Ipswich go to Wolverhampton and win, but then they lost at home to Sheffield. “So maybe Belle Vue and Sheffield look the strongest on paper at the moment – but it’s all about getting in the play-offs, and once you do that then it’s anybody’s as we’ve seen many times.” KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Thomas Jorgensen, Richard Lawson, Lewis Kerr, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Jack Thomas. BELLE VUE: Max Fricke, Jye Etheridge R/R, Charles Wright, Michael Palm Toft, Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Tom Brennan. *KING’S Lynn have named Josh Pickering and Richard Lawson as their pairing for the first round of the Premiership Pairs at Peterborough on Monday, with Jack Thomas in the Rising Star berth.
  16. Maybe Riss but I always think its a risk putting a number 2 in heat 15 as its so long since their last programmed heat. Did anyone else think Erik made sure he came third in heat 10 to prevent a Sheffield tactical?
  17. Do you not get a point for scoring 42 nowadays then
  18. There must have been a reason, Alex Brady has proved to be a good TM so far and not afraid to make tough calls so I can't imagine it was an oversight.
  19. The Met Office app has thunder storms and showers until 8pm, so it's just a matter of how lucky they are in Kirky Lane with where the rain falls or doesn't.
  20. It'd absolutely right that riders need to adapt as required but at the same time I think they are entitled to expect their home track to be very similar each week unless there has been lots of rain. The best teams who hammer others at home frequently generally have settled conditions which don't change from week to week and their riders know exactly want to expect.
