  1. If Plymouth didn't have bad luck they'd have no luck at all.
  2. Mick Norris for Puk; http://kingslynn-speedway.com/homepage
  3. I think you worry too much Doesn't really matter that Peterborough are catching us, what matters is that we get enough points from twenty meetings to finish at least fourth. As it stands we've raced less meetings than everyone else but like every home meeting it's important to win them. R/R would be ok but 7 riders is better so hopefully we can get a good one. 46-44.
  4. People could probably accept that if it was on a weekend! I always advocate a neutral venue but those don't really exist any.more with doubling up rife. Thank goodness for the stream for fans of the northern clubs.
  5. It can only be home for hone advantage, Wolves aren't the first track to do it but its a downward spiral the day the track is prepared for home riders and not entertainment.
  6. Indeed, they are few and far between nowadays.
  7. So I did have it wrong, apologies. Great that it's being streamed, I read a discussion earlier in the thread and obviously got the wrong end of the stick.
  8. So if I've got this right it's at one of the furthest flung tracks on a midweek evening and not being streamed?
  9. This does surprise me because things have been much better since Alex Brady has been involved, if it was still down to other members of the promotion you probably wouldn't be. Presumably Mulford will still be required on Thursday if it's R/R for Puk anyway? Agree that venting on Facebook looks awful even though I do have sympathy with the boy. However as I said before to me a number 8 is to cover the odd meeting, not longer term injuries.
  10. I don't think people can realistically blame Poland for our decline, that lies at the feet of our promoters and administrators but surely you can understand folk being cheesed off at them preventing riders who would probably get jobs over here doing so? I'd have thought the attraction of Sweden is the less travel and one race day for those based in Poland.
  11. Agree, guests reduce credibility even further but you'd always prefer one to R/R. As for the number 8, I assume its compulsory this year with everyone having a permanent one for him to be present when using R/R.
  12. There might also be the odd rider like Bewley who would do the UK as a third league if they were able but I don't think it would be many.
  13. Absolutely, I'm not suggesting he is, I just thought he was one of your better riders in what was a pretty poor season.
  14. But then you risk the opportunity being lost and losing the meeting by a point Poole's top three can beat anyone anywhere IMO so there shouldn't ever be a reason not to use a TS as soon as you can.
  15. Effectively they are banning riders from racing where they want though because they probably pay them more than the other leagues put together! They know very well riders won't jack Poland in.
  16. I've always been of the opinion that you use it at the first opportunity.
  17. Depends on how many 'postponements' there are between now and then
  18. Perhaps I'm remembering wrong but despite him being signed to replace Cook I thought he scored pretty well considering.
  19. I expect everyone knew it was a distinct possibility but I suspect Kildemand would have long been back in had he not broken bones. As selfish as the Polish rules are everybody knew about them and as far as I can see the club aren't jumping up and down and have accepted it. Lodz gave him permission to ride here initially and hopey he'll be back.
  20. Really? I thought he was one of the few bright spots of 2019.
  21. Unless its later in the season when Poland and/or Sweden have finished I think its just rumour and gossip, he can't race here as things stand. And I can't imagine he'd want to anyway.
  22. Whats the issue with Foxhole then? Presumably preparation rather than shale after all the widening. What's changed to eliminate an outside line?
  23. Assuming it's a 28 day ban (ie the next month as stated) then it's R/R or guests, not ideal but probably better than any signing who would be available. So not necessarily season over. Losing Thomas is potentially a bigger blow though.
  24. Guest, guest, guest, guest, zzzzzzzzzz. No R/R at least I suppose
