Great news. The piece says about the track being 'internationally certified' so you'd imagine it will be something more akin to Midenhall than Armadale with shorter straights and more sweeping bends. Congratulations to all involved. Hopefully there will be a stronger sport for Edinburghs new track to be part of along with Northside, Eastbourne etc with enough customers and riders to make things viable.

Alternatively Jorgensen may kick start his season and score lots of points. Personally I don't see Jorgensen and Worrall swapping being a big deal, but having to run R/R for Iversen very much is at the monemt.

Now those I would buy

Considerably worse than that according to the Met Office https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gbvn9cv4h#?date=2022-06-28

We've seen Sedgemen start seasons well and then tail off before but based on tonight's evidence and his scores for Brum he could quite possibly strengthen our second string department.

What makes Lawson's contribution even more impressive last season is that he was in a dreadful team, if you are losing every week motivation can be very difficult. Makes you wonder if his knee injury affects him more than he is letting on as he started the season very well.

Not bought a programme for years, agree with what iainb says about filling them in being a mood hoover. If I want to know rider scores during a meeting I load the updates up on my phone occasionally and have a quick glance, the meeting score is either on the scoreboard or heard over the tannoy.

Eastbourne is an awful track IMO, far too tight and narrow. -

Yet were missing riders and our losses aren't unlucky? Not to mention Pickering's bike issues (just one of those things). Works both ways. I think to put it into context Sheffield are the strongest 1-7 out there, you could possibly have seen us nicking it the other night with Iversen and Thomas present. I think not getting carried away with the league cup results was sensible but equally a couple of defeats shouldn't mean that either. However wins needs to start coming soon if we want to grab a top four spot. -
Just not on this forum any more perhaps?

I'm afraid the main reason clubs close is because of the people who run them and run the sport. Give people a good product at value for money and they will buy it, it has ever been thus. -

I don't think he's a number one in fairness. But if we are going to give our riders a track which is so grippy that it's difficult to pass on then they need to be gating much, much better than last night. We are bang average at the moment, no Puk or Jack doesn't help but the early season spark has disappeared unfortunately. -

If you had a black hoodie, a pair of glasses and a pint in your hand I think I spotted you So many points thrown away by Lynn tonight but ultimately Sheffield's top four were far too strong with Mountain chipping in too. We are so inconsistent right down the order at the minute and I don't think such a grippy track suits us. Need some away points now and quickly! -

Track too grippy, racing poor so far. Hope the early season slicker tracks aren't a thing of the past. -

That looked 50/50 to me, Lawson was very hard and it looked like MPT had started to lift anyway but if you look where Lawson ends up I think there is every chance he would have cleaned Toft up anyway had he stood his ground. You could make a case fir either being turfed out. I'm sure one thing we can all agree on is that if it had been MPT storming under a Poole rider like that the opinion of Shovvy would have been completely the opposite
