  1. It's funny, Lynn fans were saying that about Peterborough last year.
  2. Plus the main thing is that racing against faster (the fastest) riders makes him go faster and facing them week in week out means its sink or swim. Both he and Lambert have gone to a different level since riding in that league regularly.
  3. Yep sounds like he wasn't happy for whatever reason, maybe the grippy track, the pressure of riding for his local club, possibly a personality clash with someone? Although Allitt and Brady were in the pits with him at the British Final. If you're not happy in your work surroundings you won't perform as has been seen this year. Perhaps a clean break might be best for both parties going forward.
  4. Depends on the individual really, if his head isn't right after being released then you can understand him declining to ride but a different personality might want to earn the money and put in a performance to prove the management wrong. But as he is injured its moot I guess
  5. But would he have progressed at the rate he has without an Extraliga spot? Doubtful I'd say. The top division in Poland is the place to be if you have aspirations of being and becoming world class, the sooner Brennan can get himself there the better for his development
  6. You are right, the UK is way down the pecking order, in large part due to the Polish restrictions but for reasons of our own making too. While I see your point about Kerr he hasn't been good enough and can't complain about being dropped, the Play Offs are obviously long gone but I applaud the club for not wanting to let the season fizzle out, there is a cup to win and they owe it to those who turn up to try and win the league matches that are left.
  7. Not enough race winners, and dominated at reserve. Could see it coming a mile off unfortunately.
  8. Lol, what a load of predictable horse manure. I'd suggest that if the promotion aren't serious about us being a competitive outfit that they either let somebody else have a go or drop us down a league because these last two seasons have been a million miles short of good enough. I'm just thankful that I didn't feel up to going tonight and didn't waste a hard earned twenty quid.
  9. Willy waving. But if you can watch a meeting at home without having to use a load of time and petrol why would you not?
  10. I think the likelihood of Kerr being released for Andersen is incredibly slim, you wouldn't make a change at all in that case. The Jakobsen rumours are strong so I expect him in for Monday. Klindt probably doesn't cover Iversen's scoring but heat leaders are thin on the ground, so it's a very limited market. He's certainly a lot better than R/R and guests here and there.
  11. Who's claiming a miracle? Stop making things up! It's a realistic assessment considering Ipswich are likely to outscore Lynn at reserve and Doyle won't drop many if any points. Doesn't need King and Batch to be amazing for that to all amount to somewhere near 46 points.
  12. Whichever of he or Jorgensen are getting the chop can't really really 'stick two fingers up' as they've both been poor. That's for illness rather than injury.
  13. Yep if Doyle goes through the card again or comes close and Starke goes big then Lynn could struggle.
  14. Unfortunately I just don't think he's got what it takes. I thought he might kick on this year signing for two clubs who are always very good at home but he just hasn't and the bad rides outnumber the good which is a pity as he looked a fine prospect at sixteen.
  15. It's an odd one. With all due respect to Kasper he is either the cheap option or a last resort. Perhaps the club have given up on 4th despite what they say in press releases?
  16. Big blow. Starke should have a field day at reserve.
  17. Prepare it slicker and that's the kind of racing you get.....load it with grip and its follow the leader garbage like recent weeks. Wonder what we'll get Thursday......
  18. Presumably his Bydgoszcz fixtures are done.
  19. A few weeks ago a friend of mine stated that as well as promoters fans are also contributing to the decline of British speedway......at the time I disagreed, however after reading all the negativity and nastiness on here and social media both last Thursday after the SoN semi and last night I think he is spot on. So many speedway supporters are utterly embarrassing, fawning over their favourite riders and unable to take a step back and look at situations objectively. Name calling, unpleasantness, bickering....its like the school playground. The farting about while it poured last night was typical BSPL and unacceptable for the poor buggers there watching, but they eventually came to the least unsatisfactory decision.
  20. Why? Ellis actually won a completed meeting and didn't get the chance he earned because Cardiff didn't happen. It's the best outcome of a crap situation for me, and I don't have a preference towards any of them particularly.
  21. More racing in four heats tonight than four meetings at Vojens last week. Tom Brennan really does look the real deal.
