That's a great effort by a Cook-less Glasgow. -

Very often the way, the riders get over it quickly but the fans bleat on and on about it and hold grudges. -

Five-a-side speedway, that's a new one on me. Best wishes to all those injured. -
But he's had a spell at reserve and Kerr hasn't.....
-
Yes fair point but the strategy would have been to put Bewley in the second GB heat so they could have done that anyway. Perhaps the strategy after heat one was to stick with the 'top' two as chosen and only use Bewley when they had to. To be fair to Lambert if he doesn't touch the tapes against Norway he probably goes unbeaten with Woffy for the rest of the meeting and there's no need for a run off but I think he will now be fortunate to be involved much on Saturday.

I've been giving this a lot of thought, trying to work out why they wouldn't want to get Jakobsen in at reserve, the only thing I can possibly think of is that they think he can handle himself in the top five and that the combination of that and Kerr at reserve would score more than Jakobsen at reserve and Jorgensen in the top five? Don't necessarily agree myself but it all I can think of. Unless of course its a political decision.

Awful meeting, aqdul track. GB looked all at sea early on. Thought Lambert was unlucky with the tapes exclusion as the Norwegian twitched on his inside but he never made a gate all night and ought to start at 3 on Saturday. Hopefully they will find some dirt by then! Putting to one side who scored what I'm surprised GB didn't swap round each heat to give them all four rides as an audition for Saturday, thought thats what they'd do.

That's the consequence of the Polish rules unfortunately, anyone any good rides over there and has to abide by them, we are fortunate that we had Iversen for as long as we did. Hopefully they change next year.

Not really jobs for the boys as they are both 'boys' and it's a toss up who's been most disappointing this year but Jakobsen at reserve seems a no brainer. Unless of course Adrian Flux has a say.

Jorgensen then.

Jakobsen the one who wiped out Palm Toft in 2018? Where does he ride now? EDIT just seen, Grudziadz

Don't necessarily agree with that, I think their hands have been tied by foreign commitments for those coming in, no point in using anyone over here already as it wouldn't be an improvement. The mistake was keeping both Kerr and Jorgensen in the team for this year and going with Kildemand when he is only ever one ride away from breaking bones. Changes now won't secure 4th but will keep people interested (ie no R/R or guests) and lay some foundations for 2023.
