  1. I think you ought to be happy with the thought of anyone over two legs, as things stand you win any play off at a canter on paper IMO.
  2. One of those things but very disappointing to not see Basso, was looking forward to seeing him in action (no disrespect to Slambert)
  3. He was complaining last week that he didn't get selected for Gniezno (sp?) so must be fit to a degree? Not in their line up for today either. Dread to think who we'll end up with if he doesn't appear and Puk disappears.
  4. No idea. I'm unsure why people think he won't come really, time will tell I guess. Hard to see who would replace him if he's not available.
  5. Of course Ipswich do but in Doyle they have the leagues best rider which is a great starting point, if others click they could be decent. If PK actually comes and averages seven ish I think we'll be very competitive.
  6. Poole, Glasgow, Redcar or Leicester.....the others just making up the numbers essentially.
  7. Spills for Worrall and Pickering this evening, hope they are both OK for Monday.
  8. Smith and Morley have been tried umpteen times in this league by various teams and haven't made the grade, at least Newcastle are trying something/someone different.
  9. Yes those last couple of spots should be keenly contested but there are going to be some massive home wins. I'd say BV once Zagar comes in, Ipswich with Doyle and Lynn with a strong reserve could all end up in the final against Sheffield if things go their way, it's very open.
  10. Indeed less teams and six is too few but on paper at least the Prem looks far more competitive than the Champs thos year, big gulf between the top and bottom and you could guess four or five Play Off teams right now.
  11. I think Glasgow's team has the most potential but I just can't see anyone beating Poole over two legs injuries permitting.
  12. I know Scunny are strong at home but that's some collapse by Leicester.
  13. Probably judging by how they've started the season but you never know, we have enough riders who can get round the EoES well enough!
  14. A tasty looking league cup clash at the EoES, Lynn's first team meeting of the season. Would be delighted with a point. Hopefully everyone comes through their weekend commitments in one piece!
  15. Well done Oxford and congratulations to all for a successful return!
  16. Jack Thomas having an excellent debut for Oxford this evening.
  17. I used to go regularly 2006-08 when they were second division and sporadically before that, it's a lovely little track when prepared well, small but not turn-yourself-inside-out tight. Unfortunately since then its often resembled a ploughed field from what I've heard and seen. Used to do amazing fish and chips too, all in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees and fields. Was a cracking Sunday afternoon out in the right weather.
  18. What's he done? Stand by for cries of 'it makes them stronger'!!! from down Dorset way
  19. Extremely disrespectful to the rest of the Plymouth team who made you look a bit silly by getting a point.
