Yep definitely no grounds for getting carried away as we haven't faced a full strength side yet but it's a hugely encouraging start. There is still the Iversen/Kildemand situation to be clarified and Wolves home & away next week could bring us back down to earth but this team looks rock solid from top to bottom.

He has been fantastic in his first three Lynn meetings both in terms of his scoring and the entertainment factor, plus he really interacts with supporters and is properly 'stoked' when he wibs races and meetings. I've been struggling to find the enthusiasm to attend Lynnuch over the last two or three seasons but he is the catalyst I've needed to get back into it. His last to first in the last great decider against Peterborough was sensational enough but he then beat Doyle three times on Monday including getting him on the line after a race long battle. A sure box office in every way and we are incredibly lucky to have him at Lynn.

Or perhaps the season starts upon the commencement of the first League Cup match? That's what's not particularly clear. But I'm glad Zagar is here and I'm looking forward to seeing him.
-
Surprised Lynn aren't giving Mulford a run out tonight especially with Thomas in action last night and tomorrow. Cam see a Witches win tonight with them determined to get off the mark and Lynn (hopefully) taking few risks.

Would have done had anything been riding on it.

As usual it's a rule which is far from clear and could be interpreted a dozen different ways and you can understand why some might be disgruntled by the signing. For me it's ok because Allen was declared as a temporary signing, because the league hasn't started and because Zagar enhances the product and will put more bums on seats.

He used to be but recent visits have been much better including 11 in Lewi's meeting and a paid double figure score for Poole when he last rode here. He's a very different rider nowadays to the one who rode for us in 2013.

King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 25/4/22

This is a very good point, it's been a great start but I don't think anyone is getting carried away, we have been a bit fortunate so far. Meetings against the other three sides will give us a better idea of where this team is at. -

It is and that's why I said 'so far' and 'appears to be', but yes he has rekindled my enthusiasm considerably. And you are right, they need to sort the Iversen/Killer situation adequately or we will be also rans. It was refreshing for it to all be over in 90 minutes but I actually thought the track was a bit too slick and the dirt too wide too early, it could have done with more grading and watering for me. Some of the races were great as you say but several were FTG too, it seemed too easy to gate and sit out wide. Could have done with a little more down low. -

Based on his performances at Lynn so far Josh Pickering is the kind of rider who will make people keep coming back, pure entertainment and a rider who gets people up on their feet and excited. They don't come around very often, in terms of excitement he appears to be in the same bracket as Lee, Gustafsson, Loram, Ward Lambert and to a lesser extent Parker and Nermark in their really good seasons. He seems completely suited to the Lynn track, it's perfect for him. -

It's a puzzle, he looks fast enough and has a good style but just can't get out of the gate and looks tentative behind other riders. Was as fast as Worrall in heat 14 but kept hesitating into the bends which gave him no chance to pass. Josh Pickering was sensational again, his race with and pass of Doyle in heat 9 was top drawer. -

Witches been quickest out of the gate in pretty much every race so far, this is going to be far harder for Lynn than it needs to be by the look of it. -
I saw he had a pile up in his last ride. He's a walking injury unfortunately.

Paid ten for Kildemand in Poland today. Also paid fifteen for Thomas at Newcastle this afternoon, well done young man.

You'd like to think so but there have been various whispers that he won't be coming. Also see he had yet another pile up in his meeting today. -

Let's hope it doesn't take as long to get 'Terry' or someone similar in as it did for Poole, was at least ten years of bumps and holes wasn't it? Might have been longer. -
That's the beauty of JustGiving, if you want to contribute you can but if you don't you're not forced. Everyone has a choice

From what I've seen so far I'd suggest Basso will be on the radar of many Polish clubs before long if he isn't already which might make his availability for the Championship tricky or at least require some creative fixture arranging. -

One thing the EoES can't be described as is generally gate and go. It really isn't and has been for many years one of the very best racetracks in Britain. -

Oh come on now, I think we can all agree that those who have been twice in eleven years know more about the track than those who go every week I think its generally accepted that when building the track and stadium they made a bit if a horlicks of the shape but a lot of work has gone into widening and improving it. Sounds like there are one or two issues with the surface but it's posted on here far more often than ever before that the racing is good nowadays and that's a very positive thing. To answer the OP writing any team off in April is silly. -

Hucenbeck would ne a very good option but I'd be surprised if his continental commitments allowed him to come over, or if he'd want to. -

Having a guest from another team who are also in a three team round robin would be absurd. -

Can't blame Kerr taking the booking but daft that a rider who rides for one play off contender can guest for another. -

I wonder if a video of heat 15 will pop up on the website and social media pages?
