  1. If all three are absent or even just two of them it could get messy.
  2. Good on him but, like shoulders, knees are funny things and don't just heal quickly. Hopefully he's got a brace to wear and can battle through it.
  3. Knee, ill, ill apparently. To have a chance of getting anything at Wolves you need everyone to be 100% and it appears we were nowhere near that unfortunately. Well done to TJ who gets stick for his away form. Lord knows what team we might have out on Thursday
  4. Illness apparently. Does he now have to sit out for so many days?
  5. I think its important not to get carried away with the result of one meeting, Belle Vue look very good on paper of course but Panthers just had a bad day, it happens and I'm sure they will better next time out. Basso won't score many ones, testing an engine for the U21s next weekend perhaps?
  6. To be fair if there is fuss it's from others, I haven't come across a Stars supporter yet who has got carried away as every meeting so far has been against teams with at least one rider missing. We could get tonked tonight as we rarely go well at Wolves for whatever reason so a point would be great although I'm sure Alex and the team are going there to win.
  7. Where can we read this posting please? EDIT found it.
  8. I think that's the whole issue Lisa, the rules are far from clear. It's an interesting thread as some are adamant it's a fudge by the BSPL and others think it's quite clearly ok, better wording of the regs would have cleared it all up. Unfortunately the rule book has been a horlicks for years.
  9. Ah yes remember him at Lynn back in the noughties, don't think he ever got his back wheel out at any point due to the grip!
  10. Absolutely but first visits to tracks can be tricky and Monmore can be difficult for even the most experienced visitors.
  11. I hope you are right but I just don't see anyone bettering pugwash over two legs.
  12. Amen to that, nasty injuries and a shame as he was going so well.
  13. My assumption was that Jack got his Polish gig through his Dad who I believe was an extremely popular rider over there.
  14. Iversen or no Iversen this will be our toughest test so farvon arguably the hardest track to visit. Would take a point.
  15. That would be my take too. The regulations could have been much clearer in their wording though to emphasise it. Not sure temporary signings would even be permitted if it wasn't the case.
  16. Interesting comments on Doyle I've never been a fan particularly but I thought as a GP rider and former World Champ he was a poor ambassador for speedway on Mobday night, he didn't do one lap of honour from what I saw, nipping back to the pits across the centre concrete every time and not even shaking Pickering's hand after their tremendous heat 9 battle. Heard a rumour too that we nearly ended up with him and Kasper rather than Pickering and Worrall this year, thank goodness for that.
  17. Kildemand has a broken leg hasn't he? Rather than refusing to ride. I suspect R/R will be permitted and that's what we'll have for the immediate future.
  18. And thats the beauty of this team, he and Lawson only scored seven between them and we still got the job done. Assuming the Kildemand spot is properly filled we should be looking to go anywhere and have a chance of winning the meeting.
