  1. Course there is, that's the party line you lot all toe anyway. Maybe Lewi got his paid 14 the other week by overtaking people left right and centre then, good on him.
  2. And presumably Poole the other week A big up yours from Kerr and Pedersen to their doubters tonight, good on them. Racing pretty ordinary tonight but I've always loved speedway at the EoES and enjoy it even when it's not at it's best, you can't beat a proper flat out, smooth track for me.
  3. Like the paid fourteen he got round your muckheap the other week you mean
  4. Quite obvious, they don't want to go down to five riders should MPT pull out early. Not sure I agree with it but its fully understandable.
  5. Why not? With pretty much every rider doubling up both leagues still need to avoid each others race nights.
  6. Makes sense, one tie is done and dusted while the other is in the balance if not totally so.
  7. Not many at Lynn unless you are driving a stock car. Buster obviously gets hold of the stuff at a good price and likes it as a dual sport surface and once he took over at Peterborough decided to use it there too probably on a cost and availability basis. It seems it can produce great racing at the EoES when the inside isnt too grippy although I expect that would be the case with 'normal' shale.
  8. I expect they've gone with experience, Lambert has now ridden in several GP's, SWC's and SoN's. Would have fully understood if they'd picked Bewley but can equally appreciate why its Robert, there's not a lot between them all things considered.
  9. Yep, if I'd read it properly in the first place I'd have seen that
  10. So assuming it's six man teams, what would GB's strongest side be? Woffinden Lambert Bewley Ellis Cook King
  11. If this is true I'm quite surprised and they've obviously gone with big meeting experience over home track experience.
  12. Crump scored one or something last month for Ipswich at the EoES. Basically Cook is the only 'better' option on paper than Kerr and for whatever reason one or both parties didn't fancy it. Losing MPT is a blow for P'boro but if the track is how they like it and not how it was against Sheffield they should get the job done but I'd never write Wolves off, they are a team full if decent British League riders.
  13. At last,a sensible post among all the guff.
  14. Good to see Kemp finally get going after a pretty awful season, hopefully he will kick on now and fulfill his potential.
  15. He's like most Lynn riders.....could score double figures or nought.
  16. I'm absolutely not overlooking anything, Tai gets a lot of clog for not riding here but he has done far more for Team GB over the last few years than anyone, I'm pretty sure Lambert and Bewley are as good as they are with more to come because of Tai and the example he has set them with professionalism, diet, fitness etc. I hope he and they are able to do the same for out current crop of U21's which is as good as we've had for a long, long time. Agree about the GB set up, from what I hear Tai and Rosco never saw eye to eye and without Woffy's input I'm sure it would be nothing like it is now.
  17. I'm sure he does give a 'do da', and I fully expect him to ride but just a small part of me wonders if he is ready to hand over the mantle now that we have two young world class riders alongside him. Whichever of the three doesn't ride, I want to see him in the pits fully involved, almost as an assistant team manager and fully part of the meetings.
  18. Absolutely this, the eventual aim has to be for all reserve berths on both leagues to be Brits. Those who have been elevated to the top five this year, good for them, will only help them develop further. Hasn't done Flint any harm.
  19. Well done Artem Laguta and fair play to Zmarzlik et al for the sportsmanship straight after.
  20. This has crossed my mind, maybe Tai would step aside and have the weekend off. If he rides you have to pick Bewley because of where it is, anywhere else (apart from perhaps Wroclaw) and it would be Lambert. Whichever two get the nod we have a great chance.
  21. Yep remember standing on the back straight, someone had a nasty crash on the home straight, Loram perhaps? 2002? Remember seeing Topinka in a petrol station on the way home and he was a miserable git
  22. Spot on. It's on until it's off and it will be very wet indeed, you pays your money and takes your choice.
