  1. But he had least had Championship experience and was an NL number one......
  2. In what universe would Sam Hagon be ready for Premiership speedway next year?
  3. The cynic in me thinks that P'boro have done what they needed to do tonight in terms of averages and will wrap up top spot on Thursday by hook or by crook.
  4. Great ride from Toft. Just a shame its taken so long for the outside line to develop.
  5. This whole 'mates' is getting a bit boring and is a bit disrespectful....the team was obviously built to a budget with little in the way of loan fees, the hope was obviously that riders on low averages would improve and be bargains, they were risks which unfortunately didn't come off. One thing the club can't be criticised for is the willingness to make changes but once anyone any good has been snapped up its then difficult to strengthen. Personally I'd keep all bar Riss and Barker and if those two signings are the right ones it would be a much better team for 2022.
  6. Absolutely, but even though much improved and competitive every match now its still a team that doesn't won meetings. As I've said before I think its only a couple of changes away from a decent side, hopefully they are able to get it right for 2022.
  7. His though is based on half his meetings at Lynn where he is much better than anywhere else.
  8. My take on it is that guests are being used to save wear and tear on man and machine until the Pkay Offs when R/R will be used again. As if it will make any difference to the result
  9. Just over half a point covering the top six is amazing, the very definition of a solid team. A proper team, not just three big hitters and a load of makeweights.
  10. In fairness Henry there was a SEC round a few years ago from there and the racing was incredible.
  11. People talk about what's on offer in the UK doing damage to speedway but what we e been served up at times in the GP's and SoN this year have arguably been worse because of the wider audience. It wont happen buy it really is time international speedway went back to its roots and starts choosing the best race tracks for the big meetings, we have enough of them across Europe for every round and event to be a good spectacle.
  12. Poole have plenty enough of a lead, can't see Leicester defending that for long in the second leg.
  13. Loyalty is great to a point but a team which finished bottom and has won TWO matches all season needs some changes
  14. Hi pal hope you are well. Ouch! Personally I would say that if your heart and mind aren't totally in it then riding a 500cc monster probably isn't the best idea for you ir those you race with.
  15. Madness for any club to run on a night when folk wont come. Remember Rye House?
  16. I could be wrong but didn't Poole get special dispensation to use Nick Morris in the final to avoid Ellis appearing for both sides?
  17. Theres a lot of whittling going on about Pedersen, I expect he will score really well everywhere should he drop to reserve.
  18. The question has to be who would you have signed instead? And is the comment about keeping Becker happy knowledge or hearsay?
  19. I don't disagree but I'm not sure a 15 point max that he should be getting with his eyes closed anyway would sway anyone's thoughts.
