  1. Especially as he rode Monday, would have thought he’d have told him to stick it by then. Also I’m pretty sure he knew it was a temporary gig when he joined with Cook. Also we all know that skidder likes a good rubbish stir
  2. Yes I know, I meant how it happened. *childish laugh*
  3. Lambert is still in the 1-7. There could be several reasons why Simon is injured, unfortunately with the Wild West approach to bending rules in recent years people will always question guests if they haven’t seen a rider crash on updates or wherever. Ayres certainly stands a better chance of scoring but I can’t see him taking too many points off any of Poole’s riders tonight.
  4. Yet scored twelve at Ipswich the week before. Lynn’s season in a nutshell.
  5. No worse than anyone else’s Id argue. Presumably there is some kind of points limit over there and his sacking has freed up points lower down?
  6. But that doesn’t fit with a moaning and groaning agenda does it? On a more positive note Erik & Kasper have signed for Redcar.
  7. Our top six are well capable of scoring 46 between them anywhere but it just hasn’t happened away from home this year due to chronic inconsistency throughout the whole team. I would expect something like 55-35 on Thursday but hoping for much better.
  8. I’d say it’s extremely relevant. A governing body who doesn’t know its own rules isn’t fit for purpose.
  9. Thing is supporters of every team in the league bar two are saying the same thing sid, somebody will be finishing third and fourth!
  10. So basically the use of Bickley rather than Vissing was correct and the 17:10 phone call was incorrect information which suggests that the governing body don’t know their own rules?
  11. You’d have to say that Ipswich and Poole look home and hosed so it could be an absolute dogfight between the other five for two play off spots.
  12. I’d have thought the best plan with a weak number seven is to get his three rides done in the first seven races leaving the better reserve to take the three non heat leader races.
  13. It wasn’t a great spectacle but heats 13 and 14 were pretty good too. Far too much FTG though as per. Nice to catch up with several people I hadn’t seen for a while!
  14. Bickley doesn’t possess the experience that the Poole reserves do, he might well score a few points but nobody would be surprised or knock him if he didn’t. It’s all very well knowing a track but you have to be in amongst it around the first two bends or you can get tailed off as a young rider, and that’s not knocking the lad who is going to be very good in the future.
  15. For me it’s one of the worst things about speedway in recent seasons. Injuries spoil meetings as contests, keep people waiting around for ambulances and litter teams with guests and R/R. That’s without thinking about the effects both long and short term of the riders themselves.
  16. Absolutely, I’m talking about a new signing rather than guests. Pretty clear that Lambert will be in the team tomorrow, according to Neil Watson he’s still in the declared 1-7 anyway until Nicol’s paperwork comes through.
  17. Don’t think we’ll miss Nicol at home in the short term as Lambert is a reasonably good number seven round Lynn but it’s a completely different story away so if Nicol is likely to miss many away matches I’d be looking to sign somebody else at least in the short term until he’s fit.
  18. Dropped for not scoring away, was very good at home. That said I’m not interested in getting involved in the stronger/weaker nonsense.
  19. I’ll be there Phil, tying it in with a weekend at the in laws.
  20. Cleaned up by Bates. Not the first or last no doubt.
