  1. If heritage is your thing then King’s Lynn is full of it and we’ll worth half a day of your time. If not then the North Norfolk coast and plenty of other interesting places are an other 20-30 minutes in the car beyond Lynn. Unfortunately the roads get slower the closer to Norfolk you get
  2. This. Teams getting thrashed at home doesn’t do anybody any good.
  3. Lots of parking if you get there early, there is an overflow car park in a field opposite the stadium which is a nightmare to get out of and I’d expect that to be used on Wednesday so try and avoid having to go in there! Parking is free.
  4. He never said that he was? It makes no difference anyway, riders will usually end up riding where they want to.
  5. I would suggest that Lynn need to score 40 in Dorset to stay in the tie - I don’t see Poole getting a hiding at Saddlebow Road this time.
  6. This. Most people are way beyond caring already. It’s boring. Roll on Monday.
  7. Maximum impact timing with the press release I’d imagine.
  8. Somerset’s situation on Monday shows that you really don’t want to be going into a Play Off match a man short.
  9. Super League Rugby have a league winners shield which is awarded before the Play Offs begin, it’s a little bit of recognition without going over the top for the team who finished 1st. I think it would be a good idea. As for Museli, I thought a guest could only appear for one team in the Play Offs? Could be wrong.
  10. I think Poole deserve credit for getting a tune out of Harris and Klindt, neither were in form and both looked like dodgy signings. 600cc engines?
  11. Maybe brainless was a big strong, careless would be a better word. The point is Lynn aren’t lucky to have a full team (at the moment!) because a Poole rider injured himself.
  12. We’re not lucky, just a bit more careful. You are a man down because of a brainless bit of riding by Kurtz.
  13. It would appear not! In true politician style Mr Shovlar is denying the existence of his faux pas and is pursuing other winding up avenues
  14. It would be nice if this thread was dominated by sensible debate rather than the usual guff about changes making either team stronger or weaker or mind games about who is favourites or underdogs yaddah yaddah zzzzzzzzzzzzz. The reality based on form and previous results this season is that both legs will be comfortable home wins and it could come down to which team can dig in and score those vital extra points on their away leg when the chips are down. Impossible to say who will win but my main fear is Poole’s Play Off experience and the fact that they usually pull out something extra when the title is on the line.
  15. If Buster wanted to he could create something at Lynn to rival the NSS....he can take the white line in as far as he likes, add banking and change the shale used. He owns the place and therefore has Carte Blanche to make it so much better. Maybe one day.
  16. I didn’t think it was rubbish and riders were certainly much less spaced out than at Lynn, but there was very little actual racing and nearly every heat was decided after half a lap. The interest was provided by the aggregate score. He same thing probably contributed to the Lynn match being awful.
  17. Wrong meeting, that one was on 18th August Saturday was the Bordernapolis individual, he missed his last ride after pulling up after his fourth outing apparently. I think crescent girl commented on it on this thread.
  18. Berwick on Saturday as somebody has already mentioned earlier in the thread.
  19. It wasn’t brilliant other than the last lap of the last race, pretty ordinary all night up to then.
  20. Stock car friendly dirt which is totally unsuitable for bikes. Stock cars are the cash cow at the stadium so don’t see it changing any time soon unfortunately. A track can look a million dollars but if home riders can only pass when an away rider makes a mistake it’s not good. Needs to be much slicker next year, the track is a great shape for racing but the surface prevents it.
  21. The track won’t be changed now as we have a great chance to win the title but next year something has to alter as the racing is far worse than the circuit is capable of producing. If it has to be the stock car friendly shale then let’s have less of it, slicker conditions usually means better racing with the dirt Buster uses.
