  1. Previews for Wednesday night meetings really should be being released on a Monday morning.
  2. Was last night Bellego's and Gappmaier's Monmore debuts? If so then I'd say that paid ten between them probably exceeds expectations slightly, especially if it was grippy.
  3. To be fair Schlein and Thorsell both had paid ten and the Freddie / Masters combo had been 5-1'd in heat thirteen. Agree with earlier comments though, the three home points regardless of the winning margin thing is a shocker of a rule, they should have left it how it was ie the home team loses a point if the away team gains one.
  4. Looks like a comfy home win but Swindon have surprised us more than once already so would be daft to write them off completely.
  5. I'd love it if somebody could come on here and put a valid argument forward as to how and why that result is good for third tier speedway. And if the earlier comment about Clegg not being able to ride to day is correct (I assume there is a good chance that it isn't) then words absolutely fail me.
  6. Or maybe the Aussies could just get over themselves and do their jobs regardless?
  7. Hence why I said away meetings, apart from Wolves he could miss several.
  8. Commiserations to Adam but well done Robert, great performance in the toughest looking semi. Think he will do very well to finish above all of the heavily sponsored Poles in the final but he'll give it a good go I'm sure.
  9. He may well do but if he misses key away meetings because he is riding for Redcar it's a bit pointless.
  10. Bjerre is in the right environment for him to flourish, it was Lynn back in 2011 when he was sublime but I don't think it would suit him now. Everything is suiting him right now, fair at to him and Belle Vue for the signing.
  11. That's a very fair point which I overlooked. Wider fact is though that Perks is one of, if not the best number seven around and they can't replace his scoring with guests.
  12. It's amazing how many people feel the need to make their minds up definitively without knowing anywhere near the full facts.
  13. Not really in anyone's interests for Newcastle to turn up without two of the league's top stars. More rank fixture planning.
  14. Delighted to be proved wrong. Have said all along that the team was built around Holder and the senior reserve scoring well and that is starting to bear fruit. Would have been nice to take all four points but three will do very nicely. There is lots more to come from this team and one we get a scoring number seven the sky could be the limit.
  15. Heat 7 posted on BSPA Twitter feed https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=C8_ylI9aFG0
  16. Wolves look like the team to beat, but one wonders if they are peaking too early like we did in 2014.
  17. Struggling to see why he was signed really, was never likely to be a success. Ayres is a good signing.
  18. Even though it can only ever be three points 'gained' from a TR I always think a bit of scoreboard pressure from an 8-1 must have an effect.
  19. We tend to get stuffed at Swindon and I don't see Thursday being any different.
