  1. Fixture changes..... http://kingslynnstars.co/news.php?extend.30377
  2. Starman spectacularly misses the point yet again.
  3. Bjerre is a great signing. I'm not sure that people who haven't seen Bewley and Smith ride appreciate just how good they could be. If Fricke is the last rider you really have to fancy Belle Vue to be there or thereabouts.
  4. Do you really think King and Jacobs or a six pointer not yet signed up would score more than Bjerre and Sedgmen? Shame to go for the foreign lads over the Brits bit it's a complete no brainer.
  5. I'm sure this rumour appears every year. This will be his fourth season with us so he can't be too unhappy.
  6. Sedgmen rides Belle Vue particularly well which makes him a good signing on paper. As for King, I'd agree with you if Aces had priority over Ipswich but seeing as it's the other way round it was always a non starter especially as it would also have meant releasing one of Cook, Worrall or Fricke.
  7. Anything containing 'give it a rest' or 'get over it' is generally a bit ranty. No need really.
  8. SCB is using evidence to disprove what others are claiming, don't see the issue? Certainly doesn't warrant a rant.
  9. You can't have three riders doubling up from the same Champs team.
  10. I think test matches would prove popular if scheduled correctly. Trouble is there is no appetite for it amongst the BSPA / Team GB set up. Gatherings like this week are a good thing but it needs to be more regular and we need to be racing test matches on unfamiliar tracks as well as over here.
  11. Saddlebow Road is always two coats cooler than anywhere else in the vicinity!
  12. And put in a Stella performance.....
  13. That's a jealous rant if ever there was one 😁
  14. Maybe not as much as it was, but still louder and smellier than your front room. Plus you get to socialise on the terraces. However promoters need to make the effort to get people to come when it's on telly. Apart from play offs I don't go to Lynn meetings on TV out of principle because no effort is made by the promotion.
  15. Personally I think a carp meeting looks worse on telly than live. At least it's loud and smelly if you're there.
  16. I'd had that thought too but Ipswich will have priority over King. Once all countries have published fixtures, if a club rearranges a meeting and riders aren't available then tough titty.
  17. How many clashes are there likely to be? If it's several I'd say knickers to them and sign somebody else.
  18. It is the speedway that counts Trees, but we need to be seeing nine or ten good races per meeting rather than nine or ten strung out processions and a few good tussles with perhaps one awesome heat if we are lucky. I think a bit of needle helps but it's not the be all and end all.
  19. It helps to read the thread properly.
  20. Bjerre a no brainer to complete the team if the other six named are in. Like the look if that side a lot, could well garecrash the top four when it had looked pretty certain who the Play Off teams would be.
  21. From what the article says he cares very much about Team GB, and you can understand his frustration if we aren't doing all the things which the top nations are. I don't necessarily agree with him making himself unavailable this year or his comments about finishing second last year (second was a great result) but he clearly gives a toss. Would be very interesting if he did manage to buy the rights, he is a born winner and you wouldn't bet against his claim that he would get us winning the thing. I think Tai gets frustrated with Team GB as it doesn't get anywhere near his levels of professionalism (interviews aside of course). He's never going to be everybody's cup of tea but I don't think his desire towards the national team can be questioned.
  22. It would be lovely if you two could just far cough. #tedious
