It is. I wouldn't necessarily take a few immature squabblers on here desperate to score points as a representation of speedway fans in general.
-
I wouldn't say he's awkward or a GT either.
-
Wrong about you perhaps, but not the thousands of others. Whenever I talk (preach!) to people about speedway, either those who went years ago or who know about it but have never been, they are flabbergasted with the price. I believe that is speedway's primary problem.

Wilbert is inconsistency personified, and it can be race to race let alone week to week. Will be interesting to see how Riss and Huckenbeck compare across the season.
-
Looks one of the weaker sides but should be competitive IF they can track the full 1-7 on a regular basis. A big if though I would say.

Bspa Chairman - Keith Chapman

Coherently or not, orion probably speaks as much sense as anyone on this forum. -
Maybe its a percentage of the teams meetings?

Back wheel chasing.
-
But Auty won't ever be a number one in a decent team.
-
I assume from the sudden appearance of the Dorset propaganda machine that Lord Ford was one of them

Buster got rid of the yellow and green half way through an injury ravaged 1993 season when we sat bottom of the league....most probably a coincidence but the change led to a much better half of the season. I think the first meeting after the change (and a couple of team alterations) was a home win against a Wolves side flying high at the top of the table with Bo Brhel breaking the track record to boot. Yellow and blue race jackets appeared at the beginning of the next season and have remained ever since except the Silver Machine years, and as somebody has said it fits in with Lynn FC and the yellow and green is very much a Norwich colour scheme.
-
Without pressure? I'd say there's more pressure on a rider at the top end of the league.
-
Auty is a very average speedway rider who won't get any better, but can be very entertaining on the right circuit.
-
I don't disagree. One of the reasons I go less than I used to is missing riders because of commitments elsewhere.
-
I think it would be a struggle to get 119 riders to ride regularly over here without flooding teams with NL riders. Six man teams might well work with the correct format. Just seen SCB's post, this would be the best way to do it, phase out double upping gradually.
-
In which case there wouldn't be enough riders to go around. Although I agree more could and should be done to avoid clashes. Anyway, which Brits are unable to double up?
-
There would be a big old rider shortage.
-
Kasprzak is perfectly competent on small tracks, if he can be bothered.

Uncertainty Over Teams And Sky Tv

Exactly Paul. Most of the time the forum and a large number of its contributors are best taken with a large pinch of salt, especially this time of year. -

There will always be haters, whingers and those with agendas but Mr Chapman has done some great work this winter and the bottom line is that he has helped to save the EL (Premiership). He isn't perfect and has his faults but over 25 years he has done wonders for our club and is now starting to make his mark with the governing body too. -
Wouldn't disagree, but it's about encouraging as many 16-18 year olds as possible to go and charging full adult price rather than a concessionary one is less likely to do that.

Rip Dennis Wallace Aka 'merlin'
Bagpuss replied to womble53's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Met Dennis several times during Lynn's PL days and I always found him to be friendly, knowledgeable and great company. Very sad to hear of his passing. RIP. -
I think it's too soon for Kinsley. Maybe they are waiting to see who Belle Vue use as their number seven as Williamson would fit.

I think it was Gary Hicks Henka replaced, in 1990. The Commonwealth Final takings 'theft' was 1992.
