  1. Some very over the top stuff on here as expected really. Sometimes it helps to take a step back and look at things as a whole, yes Wednesday was dire but if we'd had our reserves and Lambert & Rose had scored around what they normally do it would have been a different meeting. Wolves are the best team around and we got punished. Last night was the fifth league win on the trot, we are second and changes are imminent. Calling for Dale's head or threatening to stop attending taking all that into account is a little extreme and pretty daft. Helps to take a deep breath and chill a bit before posting, things come out a lot more balanced.
  2. Apparently Morris and Grajzconek are guesting. Each season we think unavailability of riders can't get any worse and each season British speedway proves us wrong.
  3. Or not. Both have flourished in environments far more suited to them, I feel we had 'been there done that' with them both.
  4. Absolute bonkers. Not just speedway in this country which is run by muppets.
  5. This first leg will be tight, wouldn't bet against a draw but Wolves will run away with proceedings in the second leg.
  6. Absolutely, you can't blame Huckenbeck at all. Fixture scheduling in the UK is farcical across both of the main leagues, far too many unnecessary clashes.
  7. Not good. In terms of Lambert, there is a lot of indiscriminate whinging on here. Would be better to consider how long he is likely to be out for and how many meetings will be missed firing that period, might be better to wait for him to get fit rather than rushing into changes. If the best we could do under the points limit was Todd Kurtz and Max Clegg for Porsing and Lambert I'd have thought it would be better to stick with what we've got.
  8. I don't know what people are expecting anyway, we are back to square one ie the riders that fitted before Lamberts average went down. More concerned about Huckenbecks absence personally.
  9. Nicholls absolutely not. R Worrall not been riding top league so why would he get in ahead of his brother? Having thought about it Lambert really has to be at reserve and has to have all his rides.....pointless to only give him two or three.
  10. Steve, do yourself and everyone else a favour and IGNORE HIM FFS. Please.
  11. Madness to not have Harris in having scored a 15 max the other week. Just depends on whether you feel it's an advantage to have Lambert at reserve with Worral in or put him in the team with Ellis or Bates at reserve. Can see the sense in both.
  12. There is a general pattern of people not commenting as much on meeting threads nowadays, one wonders if people are being put off the BSF by the bickering and trolling which now seems commonplace or whether there is a waning interest in British speedway generally.
  13. But he got excluded. It's a bit like two yellow cards equalling a red in football.
  14. Seems utterly bizarre. We did wonder if he was offered a place but turned it down taking into account his score in last year's challenge along with riding for four teams this year and all of the U21 and SWC commitments. Perhaps he thought he had enough on his plate and is a year or two away from being ready for the GP's.
  15. Wolves would have Poole for breakfast over two legs if the Play Off final was next week, but come September assuming those teams reach the final things are likely to be very, very different.
  16. Have to agree on Shanes, he was on the pace and riding the correct lines, wasn't ever tailed off. All very well calling for him to be replaced but it's pointless if there isn't a realistic alternative being suggested.
  17. Haha nope, my wife is from Denton so we are up here visiting my in laws. Very rarely able to get a Friday off this time of year but managed it this week.
  18. Enjoyed that, perhaps the amount of passing wasn't up to the normal Belle Vue standard but it was a good meeting with close scoring, a few cracking passes, some great team riding and a last heat decider with overtaking. Chuck in a great stadium with an awesome view from the grandstand on a warm evening and it made for a great night out. Poole certainly strengthened by Batchelor but they deserve credit for digging in and getting a draw out of looked for all the world a defeat half way through. Belle Vue will have better nights but at least took something out of the contest when I really didn't fancy them to prior to heat fifteen.
  19. I see Ford is praising Hans for his commitment for riding tonight, I'd suggest as a Poole contracted rider he is just doing what he should by gracing us all with his presence once the Danish meeting was called off.
  20. Do you stand or sit Phil? Would be good to say hello.
