  1. How is Woffinden's average false when it was earned two seasons ago?
  2. A transfer window is what is needed. If a rider gets injured then tough, go with R/R or guests. The idea of a rider being signed just for the Play Offs doesn't sit right. In addition lets have averages (assessed or earned) published in March for every rider who could conceivably come over here so it's all nice and transparent. And make sure the assessed figures are realistic.
  3. Quite, the question needs to be how/why is it allowed to happen year after year after year. How can one man have so much influence and at the detriment of the sports integrity?
  4. I think that's what the majority of speedway fans are hoping.
  5. It's as if the south coast mafia think we all came off the same banana boat.
  6. In a nutshell. Chequebook speedway at its worst.
  7. There should be no such thing as R/R in the NL.
  8. I think the 'new' scoring system is one of speedway's best innovations, just wish they'd left it alone so that home teams have to win by more than six to collect all three points.
  9. Lambert Porsing Rose Iversen if he can fully commit Huckenbeck possibly And 2-3 fresh faces.
  10. If Bewley is riding then he has a chance, was under the impression he was out for the season.
  11. Rose has scored well at number two this year, not least at home to the table toppers on their second visit. He needs to be kept for next year without a doubt, one of the few good gaters we have.
  12. I think Clegg could start 15m back in all his races and still win at a canter considering the injuries to others.
  13. I don't believe for one moment that Superleague's sponsors get confused. Pretty simple concept to grasp really.
  14. I'd say Somerset have chosen their guests well but don't consider that they have strengthened. Regarding Lindgren, it's completely different guesting for an away team compared to a home side, particularly on a track where the home riders are so strong.
  15. It would be a sad reflection on EL speedway if Belle Vue chose their semi final opponents based on potential gate receipts rather than their best chance of progressing.
  16. Except it's not bleating, it's a sensible suggestion which other sports use to their benefit.
  17. I don't think teams should be able to bring riders in at such a late stage, there should be a transfer window so that any replacements have to be declared for a certain number of league matches before athe play offs. If you have injuries then hard luck, just like Belle Vue in 2005.
  18. Let's hope we can sign off with a strong performance this evening, on paper this ought to be a comfortable away win but if Poole are as poor out of the gate as last night and with us having a ringer at reserve to match theirs we may have a chance.
  19. Works for Superleague so why not speedway? Think it's a good idea personally, just a good bit of recognition for being the best team over 28 'qualifying' meetings and nothing more.
  20. If Andersen rides on Saturday Poole can't possibly sign a replacement, surely?
  21. Superleague has a shield for the team who finishes top I believe, seems like a good idea to me.
  22. Not for me I'm afraid. Time for a completely fresh approach. Those three have had a million injuries between them and even if they regained their mojos they would all only be one crash away from shutting off into corners all over again. Just not worth the risk.
