  1. He's been replaced by Nicholls as an injury replacement so there's no ban that is appropriate If he starts riding in Poland but not in Birmingham then that's a different matter
  2. Isn't his point that if he rides in Poland but doesn't return for Birmingham then he'll be deemed to be withholding services?
  3. Sometimes it's better to say nothing or say he'll be there if treatment permits
  4. There may of course be a relaxation in planning laws at some point by a future government if BE want to/can play the long game
  5. CVS runs his own show, I'd be amazed if he'd consider working for anyone else
  6. Presumably they'll have to sign a replacement, no facility for someone who hasn't ridden for you?
  7. It wouldn't have happened earlier unless there were financial issues. Rights are protected for 3 years. Whether they need to change that rule is another thing
  8. Promotional rights are normally protected for 3 seasons so if you discount the 2020 covid season then this appears to be the case here.
  9. Same as Coventry really you don't need the Grandstand to run speedway at the Showground, it helps but it's not essential
  10. Can't see Pawlicki being an 8, if he lives up to his assessed average he'll have done well
  11. I'm fairly sure that the rule used to be (it might still be I don't know) that your licence was protected for 3 years from closure provided of course the finances were in order. After that they could entertain applications from any interested parties Anyone know the up to date position
  12. Plus Football stadiums are, in the main, owned by the clubs themselves
  13. Ipswich Sheffield Belle Vue Leicester Oxford Kings Lynn Birmingham
  14. I don't think that Brum can be worrying about Sheffield, Ipswich and BV They need to have a look at Kings Lynn for example who have a good no 1 but an average no 5. Ditto Oxford
  15. Fingers crossed, he's got to have a decent number 1 no doubt about that
  16. They've had years to attract Cradley and Coventry fans and haven't, they've signed the bottom of the Wolves team not the top so I wish them well with that I think you're right in that any concerted effort to attract other West Midlands fans would need to be something new that hadn't been tried before
  17. They haven't managed to attract Coventry and Cradley fans in any significant numbers over an extended period I don't see why this season will be any different They might get some Wolves fans but if the team is losing every/most weeks that won't last long
  18. The evidence over a very long period of time now suggests that this is the case
  19. Strange that he talks about the people he hasn't signed before the team has been announced.
  20. It's the rights to promote speedway in the Peterborough area presumably in essence the licence. It used to be the case AFAIK that they were protected for 3 years after closure, not sure what the current "rule" is
  21. I've seen a couple of people mention that Freddie has said no, one of them I know is well connected to someone in the sport so it might be true
