  1. The finals over 2 legs, lets hope the other group get their fixtures over with, whether it's us (pleeeeease!) or Cookies's lot.
  2. If Sheffield are running I can only see Stead there, but if not who knows. I'm sure they will be though. This years team more or less picked itself, some interesting times ahead while next years being sorted.
  3. Yeh but if Rusty actually finished in front of him it should have been 4-2 to the Comets, Lawson won.
  4. Don't want to be relying on it but if Redcar lose at Rye next weekend we make it.
  5. It has been said that Kenny Ingalls is hoping to be fit for next season and is also hoping to ride for the Comets. If he is fit he'd probably be given a go, I think so anyway.
  6. Would help if all weather forecasts showed the same thing. Did seem to be fairing up earlier
  7. Fair now in town, windy and fairly warm. Seems to be brightening up.
  8. Good review, thought Rusty and Kyle missed the gate in 2 races near the end.
  9. Ok, would have liked to have seen how Charles would have done though
  10. Charles Wright guested for Leicester at the end of July against Sheffield and scored 6pts
  11. I've wondered myself how long a topic can stay hot and how a topic is made "Hot" Biggest problem in attracting fans is the almost total dominance of football in the press and on TV. Half a page showing pen pictures and brief description of riders (eg. where from) in the British Championship would surely attract new viewers, it's usually a good meeting too so could get some new fans attending meetings.
  12. That's a blow, thought they'd just signed him.
  13. Maybe Richard Lawson again, did ok last time for them so wouldn't be surprised.
  14. Conversely more chance of improving and staying on. Riders come off in different circumstances, riders falling in front of them, hitting ruts in the track, own error, being knocked off and maybe more. The only comparison would be riders coming off entirely on their own with no other factor involved, taking a bend too fast say or trying to hard too pass and losing it.
  15. 10 fallers in 15 meetings or 20 fallers in 30 meetings is the same average, 66.67. Don't get the number of meetings bit.
  16. Kyle Bickley, the 11 yr old was riding round DP last season and maybe the season before. Pretty sure he came 2nd in recent British u15 championship. Obviously rode Northside before DP and broke his leg there. Hasn't put him off though. Adams average doesn't alter cos of injury unfortunately so no reserve place and no NL
